The 11:10pm train back to Manhattan last night had absolutely TONS of Devils fans on board.

A wonderful sight to see

EDIT: Newark Penn was ridiculously LOUD after the game with "Lets Go Devils" cheers. Almost cover your ears loud. Amazing.

Park Slope, Brooklyn here (NJ born and raised). We need a Devils bar for viewing parties. What was that in an earlier post about Standings in the East Village? I looked it up and it seems to be a Red Sox bar (which is fine by me, less Rags fans). We should set something up there (or anywhere in the city really) for game 1 of the ECF. Nyc Devils Army assamble!

I know it's near nothing but there were about 10 of us at this bar on 85 and York in Manhattan last night. Bartenders are all Ranger fans but really cool guys, let us watch the game with sound.

Slope as well. I know of another Devils fan in our vicinity as well.

Regarding the Isles/Devils preseason game, does it make sense to buy from ticketmaster now, or do we think stubhub/etc will be selling tix for pennies? I can't wrap my head around whether or not this will be a big draw (new arena, excited isles fans, devils fans for experience, etc, -- or just a preseason game with an odd hockey configuration/layout)

Where in SI? I'm in castleton corners, always good to see fellow Devils fans from the island I've seen quite a few.

Hey, Season ticket lurker mostly but wanted to chime in. My game buddy and I sometimes catch road games at Kelly's on A b/t Houston and 1st. It's technically a Buffalo bar they'll always put the sound on and usually will show the late game too.

We met some Habs and Nucks fans there last year during the playoffs, and dubious bonus, they have Molson and Labatt if you want to really get your hockey on.

Dudes - new to the boards. Saw this thread and had to chime in.

I'm in Williamsburg, and there are definitely Devils fans in this 'hood. Every time I come home from the Rock, there are always other Devils fans who get off at the Bedford Avenue L train stop. Same with when I lived on 15th & 8th - I was NEVER by myself getting off the PATH at 14th & 6th. There are a TON of us here in the city.

As far as where to watch, there are two places I recommend:

In Brooklyn, head to 4th Down on North 4th just off Bedford Avenue. The owner is super hockey friendly and during the playoffs he only devotes two TVs to baseball - one for Yanks, one for Mets, with hockey on the 12 foot projection screen, guaranteed.

In Manhattan, I have to recommend Flight 151 (coincidentally enough, my old neighborhood bar), on 8th Avenue between 17th and 18th. The head bartender, Steve, writes for several prominent hockey websites as well as MLB.com and is a SERIOUS Devils fan. I've been to games with him and watch with him at 4th Down often (he's a Williamsburg guy, too).

This is my first post, but I'd be happy to organize a watch party at either of these places...

My recommendation is 3rd and Long on 35th and 3rd. Its a Rangers bar but they always show love to the Devils. The specials are good and they play the game audio.

Cobble Hill here, saw there were some Park Slopers on the board. Any Brooklyn Devils fans looking to find a bar?

I'm based in the slope too. I'd be game to do a takeover of a NYC bar.

There are Devils fan regulars here as well. I went on the night of Game 7 in Florida and some guy wanted to change the channel to the draft. The bartender refused. Besides people have suggested The Flying Puck which is right next to MSG and is THE bar for Rangers fans.

It's not a matter of finding "viewing parties" this round. Every bar in the city will be showing this game. It's a matter of organization and getting at least 20-30 people to show up to a bar that we know is playing it dressed in Devils gear. Let's sort out which places would put the sound on and which won't, and just choose (and show up).

I went to The Flying Puck for a couple Florida series games and Philly series games. Fun joint and they have the game on LOUD. I won't be going anywhere near there during this series though, it's as "Rangers bar" as it gets, complete with the overpriced drinks and guys in suits.
