We've finally reached the end of the conference quarterfinals. So far, this thing has been all about Jussi Trollinen... although he now has someone else joining him at the top. With all of the upsets that have taken place, his picking method has worked wonders. Now it's time for the conference semifinals... go ahead and send your picks in! Remember, there's not a lot of time to get picks in... Phoenix and Nashville get the conference semifinals started a little under 21 hours from now.

NJ and the Rangers helped me save SOME face, but I honestly wish the other teams had won

With only two hours left to go until the deadline, 13 of the 16 that played in the conference quarterfinals have sent in picks. Anton Cooper, Captain Tripps, and La Huracanista... hurry up!

Unfortunately, those three didn't make it (this is especially unfortunate for Captain Tripps, who was only two points out of the lead)... picks are now locked up. Let the conference semifinals begin!

The cinderella run continues for Los Angeles, and their sweep puts someone new on top of the leaderboard: Trollomo Ruutu. Jussi Trollinen is still right there, though... he's now in a tie for second.

HisIceness now joins Trollomo Ruutu at the top as Phoenix finishes off Nashville in five.

Just got home from work... with another series over, it's time to hand out more points! Here's a list of all the people that earned points after New Jersey's win over Philadelphia.

1)

And there's the list! Well done, everyone!

Don't you dare utter those words on these boards. The spirit of ChuckW will haunt you for the rest of your life if you do.

Upset I missed this . Going by my NHL.com bracket challenge, I'd have 13 points right now and be on top (6 in first round, 7 in second). If I provide a link, is it possible I can slip in here anyways (doubt it, but worth a try at least )?

Is everyone giving up? Only nine people sent in picks for the conference finals, and five of them were tied for fourth or better. Quitters!

I believe you... but I can't really add you in since you didn't play our specific game.

I think the short time in between rounds is a reason.

Well, we had a similarly short turnaround time between the last two rounds... and all but three people that played in the conference quarterfinals sent in picks for the conference semifinals.

That's why you need to be like me and work at a restaurant which forces you to schedule Valentine's Day and Mother's Day for the day before or after!

Jussi Trollinen's hopes are fading. After starting off so well, he's now stuck in a tie for seventh (with me, no less!). Trollomo Ruutu now takes over the top spot with just two series to go.

That's to Trollinen's failures, not yours. No hard feelings, right?

Why couldn't Henrique have waited 3 seconds to score...making at 66 seconds into overtime of game 6?

With just one series to go, we have a new leader: Caniac4ever. The only other person to pick New Jersey was Jussi Trollinen... so his chokejob isn't complete yet. He still has hope!

Now it's time to send in one more pick. Lots of time to send this one in, so hopefully we'll have more participation. But a big note to make: for tiebreaking purposes, include the total number of goals that will be scored in the series when sending your pick. Not for each team, just both of them combined. We may not even need this tiebreaker, but I want everyone to send it in just in case. Plus, it's a fun little side-game to make things more interesting. For one last time... send in the picks!
