Didn't the Devils have a pretty bad injury? Like Bryce Salvador is still out? I remember one of their D got hurt in the last game vs. Philly.

can't believe how many people on the HF boards think NJ will just run us over. Disrespect much?

We're NY, we always play "the heel" even though that's nonsense.

It's going to be a close series. A lot does depend on Broduer of course.

Rangers in 6. NJ barely got by an average Florida team, and the Flyers didnt show up last round.

First time they will be facing a great goaltender, great defense and a hard forechecking team that wont back down from them. I really think we'll score some more goals in this series too.

I just had a look on the Playoffs board and the Devils-Rangers thread has turned into a *****fest already. I hope to god that our board doesn't become infested with Devils fans.

Hopefully all the back and forth stays on the playoff board

One warning:

This is a discussion board with fans of every team on it. It is an open board. Devils fans are allowed to post on this board as long as they are respectful. Do NOT flame them. If they are trolling, REPORT IT. I cannot stress that enough.

I think this one goes the distance again, and i think again, home ice, and the matchups afforded us, will win it.

Rangers in 7.

I don't understand why everybody thinks the Devils are gods.

They barley got by a decent at best Florida team. And they played the definition of a hot and cold team (the flyers) last round, who did not show up to play and were so cold, it was unbelievable.

THEY ARE NOT THAT GOOD. Rangers in 6, hopefully this time it will be easier then the last 2 series. But i know it won't be.

My only concern is the devils got their business done in 5 games last series (and so did everyone else), and it took the rangers 8 games to close out the caps.

it really seems like the rangers have faced tougher competiton so far. The senators are a better team than florida and washington actually has a top notch goalie along with a good offense unlike phillys goalie.

the Caps were a tough team. I mean they were only one seed lower than the devils. The Caps have become a very good defensive team who blobk shots like we do which is why is was tough to score. also i give holtby credit even though the nhl analysts were overrating him he is still a good goalie. the devils have had a long layoffs which isnt always the best thing

The Flyers rolled over for the Devils the last 2-3 games of that series. Thats why it ended in 5.

The Flyers defense and goaltending was an abortion.
