Henrik, and not even close for me. Even though Richards was all we have expected when we signed him, our offense was still stagnant for most of the series except for a few quick bursts. Without Henrik, we lose this series, and pretty quickly to be honest too. Henrik's average save was way more difficult than most of the saves Holtby had to make on us. Henrik still carried us this series, and we will need him to continue his world class effort for us to compete further.
Henk is the #1 choice and Richie was our best forward.
For defense I'd say Girardi, McD and Staal all kept us afloat, but if I'd have to pick I'd say Staal. A lot less was expected out of him, but he pulled his weight and then some. Brought much needed offense, too.
For the series, I'll say Hank and Richards in a tie but Staal was absolutely terrific tonite and was our best defenseman the past 3 games. Props to Del Zotto, Feds, Hags for tonite and for the series, honorable mention to McDonagh and Girardi.
