For the guys who are season ticket holders and buy at least one ticket for each playoff home game, how can you afford with prices like those?
300 dollars for the cheapest ticket in the ECF..

Not exactly sure what youre asking but mine are in the 300's and my cost is 150.00 minus 10% for renewing early. It gets expensive but you can make some money during the season or sell a couple of the playoff games it makes it a little easier.

I went to round 1, game 1, round 2, game 7, and just got tickets for CF game 1. I have yet to spend over $200 per ticket and I am not even a season ticket holder. Just have to be smart about when and where you get your tickets. You can get them for face value if you pay attention to the on sale dates. Since I am allowed to grab 4 tickets per round, I could even buy 4, and always just sell 1 or 2 and get some cash back.

Not a broker. I bought group seats to go to a game with a bunch of friends earlier this season and they offered me to buy for the playoffs as well. Catch was I had to buy Liberty tickets as well, but it was nice to be able to get a lot of seats so that my friends could go as well.

I am going to do whatever it takes to get to a game. I think going in NJ would be cheaper right?

You better off going to the Garden for game 1 compared to games 3 & 4 in Jersey believe it or not.

Its funny seeing how the Devils fans are selling reasonably priced tickets to each other while here, we got mostly people who only care about money. With that being said if there is anyone with a pair of tickets NEAR face value for game 1 or 2, let me know.

That's not a fair statement in my opinion, you have to understand that Ranger season ticket holders pay significantly more money than Devil ticket holders, and often times we take losses on less important games throughout the year. Many of us have to sell playoff at a premium just to break even at the end of the day. This year has been kinder to STH for two reasons: 1) There were no preseason games, and 2) The team was a first place team. Not to mention we need to raise money somehow to pay for the 24% increase next year

I disagree with this statement. I laid out $14,539 for my season tickets about a tenth of my income. Most people would say I am crazy to spend 10% of my income on Rangers tickets not counting playoffs. I have a group of guys I sell games 2 and then I sell others on SH and T/E and always try to offer about 10 regular season games on here at face or below face because I appreciate that this forum has mostly younger fans who can,t afford STH,s. That being said I also have offered playoff tickets on here at below market prices. I didn,t become a STH to make money but I don,t want to lose money.

Im not saying anything you said is untrue, but it does not dispute anything I said. In fact you actually kind of furthered my point about the money. Devils fans are taking care of their own, while people in this thread are gouging people. Afaik this isnt a ticket reselling site. This thread is here to help fans by offering them a place to get cheap/face value tickets if available. Im not saying you shouldnt be able to try and get whatever money you can for your tix but there are plenty of other avenues available for that.
