Jersey vs. Rangers.

How things change, Jersey is the more up-tempo less defensive team.
Go Devils.

Fourthed?

I've fallen in love with the Devils these playoffs, even though they're kind of boring.

Kovy = beast mode engaged.

Aside from that, I'm pulling for LA now.

The last 3 players in my pool are on NJ so I'm going for them in the East + I don't want to see NYR win, could really care less about the west really but can't help but route for the underdog (or Coyote) in that series, so go Yotes!

Because they don't matter. It is like Columbus winning it. They've been around long enough, been close once, have some likable guys in the organization and some likable alumni. I mean, how do you root against Vachon and Dionne? And they're way west and we won't hear about it unless we seek it out. And we won't.

NYR winning it will be too big of a deal in the east. Ranger fans and bandwagoners. NHL front office. Tortorella smugness. NY smugness. And just b/c **** NY. Somehow it will also be b/c of Mark Messier's leadership.

NJ will be fine for me - but the Brodeur legend talk will be annoying, even if he's just along for the ride rather than the reason they win. I could see that being irksome to some. Also, unjustified as it is for this year's iteration, people will ring the death knell of offensive hockey and be up in arms and we'll be talking 'dead puck era' all over again.

Phoenix? Well file them under "Just haven't earned it yet baby." Also, if they win it... it'll somehow seem like Bettman was right or something. Even if the building is empty the night they win the SC. (just typing that made me shiver)

Honestly, I don't mid who wins between LA, and Phoenix both have played well so far. As for Devils vs Rangers, I hope that the Devils can finish them off.

The more I read about the NYR vs NJ match up the more I think of our team's situation when it comes to support (media etc). NJ's governor is backing the Rangers... I really hope the Devils sweep haha.

Don't mind either team in the West.

I would never cheer for the Rangers. Ugh... Tortorella is a *********.

Suddenly, Spezza's production doesn't seem all that terrible...

The title of "last goalie to give up a red line goal" no longer belongs to Anderson.

Wow, Jonathan Quick of all people, gets scored on from center ice.

S*** happens. Great to see the Kings got it back instead of letting it get to them.
