Why in hell would Montreal trade for any player right now???

Montreal is atleast three years away from even playoff contender so why am I seeing so many posters ready to trade prospects for veterans doesn't make sence, next year there will be best core of free agents available in years, as many teams will let go their RFA, and there will be many top end players available, so why are so many habs posters leaving in dream world, bringing in Jagr, or Bondra won't land us cup this year, it will only make rebuilding process even slower, in the contrary of bringing in more player I say get rid of as many as you can. Montreal has been staying in between for more then five years now, mostly because previous management didn't show much patience, if Houle was still here we wouldn't have seen Ryder emerge the way he has, he gave up on Valeri Bure before his emergence, trading youngsters only means taking away youngsters place and adding in more payroll which hurts as the next CBA closes in. Whats the intention of this poster is to bring in more depth guys and wait for those lost Leclairs, and Desjardins to emerge in different teams, I say stop this circular trend, and start learning how to manage a franchise team for once.

Plekanec and Beauchemin too!

IMO, there's one player that the Habs should move at this time: Craig Rivet. For a draft pick or a prospect. Brisebois / Souray / Komisarek / Hainsey / Markov / Beauchemin or Linhart. Yeah!

Ready to make room for them? Right. They just sent down Hossa and Hainsey in the AHL and called up Dagenais and Komisarek. I wouldn't be surprised if they sat most of the games. No NHL team is harder to crack than Montreal, and it's pretty sad considering how weak they are, especially up front.

Hossa was playing better than alot of veterans, yet his production isn't there, so he's back down. Pretty strong pressure for a kid. Even if you play well, the fact you're not producing after 15 games means you're out. I wouldn't call this the ideal environement to develop a kid.
