Not happy with that period anyway. Giant softy by Quick and Brown getting flustered.

Not a bad period, but could have been better with goals.

Coyotes were lucky to get out of that tied.

They will push back in the 2nd.

I don't think the Yotes have anything for the Kings.

I am Being serious, they were not even in that period.

That was pure domination. Tippet can't even play his first D pair against Kopi.

That pairing was getting owned.

Quick nervous or something? Looked shaky all period.

Kings dominated otherwise. They have no answer for our top 2 lines. Numerous chances. Just keep going and try not to get frustrated. That is how Phoenix makes a living. Attrition. Hoping you start beating yourself before they beat you.

All that matters is the score. Moral victories like having more shots or playing more time in the offensive zone are pretty meaningless if you walk away tied.

The good thing is that the Yotes' goal was terrible. It's not like they started dominating the game and scored. Kings need to come out with the same fire, kill the penalty and get a few more goals. The Coyotes look very beatable right now.

Shots are 16-4.

Score 1-1.

Phoenix just hangs around. Kings need to be even better in the second.

Good thing the vezina was voted on before that goal.

Such a deflating goal, but we have the team and momentum to easily finish out this game. Need to keep up the pressure and stay on course in the 2nd here. We still got this.

It really sucks to be tied after a dominating period like that but on the bright side that period was all Kings. I'd rather be dominating and tied than sucking and tied.

Solid period. Coyotes goal was obviously a fluke. Keep it up! More of the same!

As much as everyone's on Quick, Carter also has to bury that chance. He get's paid to have the hands to score in that situation.

The Kings are fine. They are dominating the game. A mistake has hurt us and that will happen. Just drive on and win.

Nothing bad has happened - doom is in Washington.

This is how they play. If your goalie ends up worse than smith, you lose. Not a good start for Quick.

Let's just hope that is the last bad goal we see from Quick in the playoffs. Stuff like that happens from time to time, it's how he responds that is more telling of his character and mental toughness.
