He's a big part of their success so far. He's always stepped it up during the playoffs and it had been too long since he got to show it. Very happy for Antoine!

Haha, I know, eh? It felt weird when I typed that... but unfortunately, most people are still stuck in early 2000s.

My respect for Ilya Kovalchuk has increased so much after watching him play against Philly. He's shed all the Russian stereotypes for me.... so impressive with his work ethic and ability to adapt to a 2-way game.

In other news, Quick has been mehh... Would've never thought that he'd be the reason this game is tied (in a bad way).

I was just about to say that. They are the most boring team I've ever watched. Hell, there might be a rule next year banning the system they've employed a few times throughout the year.

He's been that kind of player for a long time. People just like to rip on him because he's a Russian, played for a southern US expansion team, wanted out, and got a huge contract.

Watching guys like Parise and Callahan lead their team makes me dread the moment we make Spezza captain. :\

They are also surrounded by better players too. Spezza is never going to be the shot blocking and hard hitting player like Callahan, but he's working on it. Also, Spezza does a lot more in the offensive zone.

So Jersey dominates most of the game, Rags play their rope-a-dope game and win it in the third with Parise and Kovalchuk put up zeros. Ovechkin got 4 points against the Rangers. Meanwhile, Spezza gets dumped all over with 5 points. Maybe, though it hurts to admit it, we should be giving the Rags more credit than dumping on Spezza.

Thought that Doan call was BS, Lewis is an idiot who turns at the last second while seeing Doan come at him.

The TSN panel agree with you.

How did LA get so good so fast?

They seem to be getting better every game and just trampling any team in their path.

Ya I agree. Can't say the same about that Hanzal hit though. That was vicious.

I've never seen a team make it to the conference finals only to look like they shouldn't even have made the playoffs. LA isn't that good, are they?

I'm firmly on the Kings wagon now. I can't support any of the teams left in it.

I know Dustin Brown has a rep around the league for diving, but I think the call against him after he got chopped in the leg was un-called for.

Great job by Lundquist covering the bottom of the net on one chance. Then a sick snipe by Kovy on the next. 1-0 Devils. C'est beau.
