Didn't this happen to Sweden in the Olympics a little while back?

Chris Osgood has given up more of these goals in the playoffs than anybody else.

Happens to the worst of goalies. Happens to the best of goalies.

Brodeur did this in the finals.
I'm sure Quick will be alright.

I really hope he just moves on and forgets about it. Sure, it's a bad goal, it looks terrible, but he's been amazing during the playoffs. He has nothing to be ashamed of. It's now his team's time to bail him out and show him some support.

He's been too good and he doesn't come off as weak between the ears like Cloutier...they win this game and it will be a moot issue.

Yea, but that's one of the greatest goaltenders of all time, Quick is just having a good season. Guess we'll see soon enough.

I think it changed reactions, you can tell by his sudden head turn as it's going in.

I remember this goal. IIRC Marty laughed this one off.

Quick is a Vezina candidate, he'll be fine. Cloutier was never anywhere near Vezina consideration, and for good reason.

Nope, that was from inside atlanta's blueline. Still hell of a shot, though.

Apparently Phoenix's strategy is to score on Quick by putting him to sleep with their crappy playing.

Quick did allow two crappy goals, but he shut Phoenix down and made some big stops in the 3rd to keep them from tying it. Takes a lot of mental toughness and focus to brush off goals like the ones he allowed and still get the win.

An epic fail, but he really turned it on from there with some great saves, particularly in the 3rd. Phoenix had a ton of chances to tie it late and he did a hell of a job holding the lead.
