Kind of funny how many superstitions we have accumulated over the four game win streak over the Flyers.

I've even built up superstitions in real life that must be followed. Like the lucky football that I need to have with me while I'm watching the game on TV.

I was extremely superstitious during the Giants run in February. Not so much this time. I'm always wearing a Devils shirt but I've collected so many through the years I probably have enough for each playoff game

I wear the same argyle dress socks to work every game day. The only pair I own that have red in them. Lucky puck that I accumulated this year from a Rangers fan on the work desk that I kiss before I leave to go home. XM broadcast is on, unless it's away, then it's iPhone with the WFAN stream.

ETC..

I only whip out my lucky Devils hat if we are down late in a game.

The only superstition I have right now is throwing my cat in the garage during OT

My sister was kind of an idiot, and bought me a small fitted Devils hat. My skull HARDLY fits in this thing, but I wore it during game two of the Flyers, and continued to during games 3, 4, and 5.

I was pretty pissed at my sister during Christmas, but now I don't think I've ever loved her more in my life. Less than three.

The Giants ones are probably easier to deal with, because that's only a few games and it's once a week. This is tougher.

Fun superstition: I wore a belt for game 2 vs. Philly and have made sure to have one on every game since. AND my pants stay up better! Everyone wins!

I stopped believing in superstition ever since I saw Scott Stevens skate away with the Prince of Wales trophy in 2000.

Funny thing was if I recall correctly didn't he not pick it up in 01?

True, plus we've only had 2 must win games so far where every NFL playoff game is an elimination game

Ya, the Rangers' offence doesn't scare me much. Did they score three goals at all last series? If we can keep the puck in their defensive zone for the majority of the time and get three goals, we'll be fine.

As embarrassing as it is, this is probably one of my favorite songs of all time. You just won the series for us, as far as I'm concerned.

The Devils managed to completely stifle one of the best offenses in the league for 4 games straight. I think they'll do a good job of shutting down the Rangers, but the question is will they be able to score enough to win.

Not even sure I can fully concentrate on this game after what I just saw on Game of Thrones.

Oh. My. God.

So what you're saying is... We need Scott Stevens to show up and start skating away with people's trophies and everything will be fine? This is a cause I can get behind.

This may be a different series in that the 1st goal could mean a lot.
