It works out pretty allright. 7pm, 7.30pm or 8pm really doesn't matter to me. If it's an 8pm start, I can get a nice nap from midnight to 1.30 in time for the pgs. As I'm fortunate enough to have flex time, I can get three more hours from 5am (local time of course) to 8am.

Overtime really is a killer, though. And triple OT...well that was just crazy.

Yeah, that was horrible news. I feel for you bro, and all my thoughts go out to Stabęk (the club), his fellow players, fans, friends and family. A tragical end for such a good kid.

I don't agree. That's not something to just throw out there, it has to come from the heart like it did with Messier. No need to guarantee anything right now.

ok boys and girls, let's see how the Rangers plan on starting the series. At least they don't have to travel far.

You're totally right, it is very difficult after the game go to work. However, if Rangers win nothing will not be difficult.

Couldn't ask for a better ECF in terms of rivalries, it's going to be so awesome or so awful.

It's nice to see so many messages mentioning us European fans. I have to admit it gets harder to follow the Rangers with the latest gametimes. I live in Holland and the difference is +6 hours for me. It sucks that the Rangers games moved all the way to 8 PM local time. That means it's 2 AM for me. Usually I don't bother sleeping a lot, but with the play-off run of the Boys in Blue, it's getting to me lately. I think from now on, I will sleep early and set my alarm for 1:30 AM, watch the game, get a couple of hours sleep and then head off to work.

Game 3 from the Caps series was the hardest one to get through. Watching a triple-OT game which only ends 15 minutes before I usually get up for work broke my mentally. I only worked 4 hours and had to take the rest of the day off.

I don't mind, because this is a special occasion, but it does take a lot from me in terms of missing out on hours of sleep.

All I want to say to my fellow-Europeans is this:

Hang in there, we have 4 months to recover before the new season starts!

I never realized before how much hate there is for the Rangers. What the hell is everyone's problem? The team plays the game hard, but very much within the rules.

Let's go boys, peddle to the metal. Don't stop attacking their net. First goal is just as important as last series. LGR!

I hope to God the Rangers can score 3+ goals. It's totally do-able on Brodeur, even with our enigmatic offense. LGR!, will miss most if not all of the 1st due to work, but I'll be glued to the TV from 8:30 on.

And answer me this, fellow fans, how did the Devs get the derogatory nickname, the "Debbies". Just wondering, is it supposed to be pretty self explanatory? If so, I'm missing something.

we should deff score more goals this series, not facing a shot blocking team is a HUGE change

They need to get Avery tickets behind the Devils bench.

Devils have no chance if he's in the lineup to get Kovalchuk and Brodeur agitated.

True. Washington sacrificed the body for blocking shots just as much if not more than us. Just look at the leaders on the Devils in terms of shots blocked compared to ours. Hopefully this series can produce some QUALITY scoring chances and maybe a bit of space for Gabby, Richards and our other scoring "threats". More quality chances = more goals for anybody. Who knows, Rangers might score 3-4 a game on average this series and get a serious confidence boost when it comes to putting the puck in the net.

Hopefully Callahan can score a big goal or two this series. He played his game well in the Washington series but it's always nice to see him score a timely goal.

And let's do as Torts said: "Play our game", don't make the rivalry the primary focus. Rather than that, look at it as another series and one step closer to the ultimate prize. Yes, realize it's a HUGE rivalry, and don't push the rivalry to the side, but at the same time don't make it the principal point of the series. Play. Rangers. Hockey.
