50 percent Quick's fault and 50 percent of nearest LA King.

Doughty behind the net screwed it up a bit. One of the Yotes tripped Quick a little bit as well and by the time he recovered it was past him. The thing with him is, he gives up 2 iffy goals yet continues to compete. The first goal was really a bad bounce, it kicked up on the second bounce and went over his blocker. I just love watching the team forecheck, there isn't a weak defensive player on the team and they just keep coming at the opposition. The fact that Sutter has no problem putting his 4th line out there in the dying minutes of a one goal game speaks volumes and it is really helping the young guys' confidence.

And in other news, Gags has been cleared for full contact! http://blogues.lapresse.ca/gagnon/20...d%E2%80%99hui/

In French but there it is.

Gagne is one player we can all get behind winning a cup.

Didnt both of you have Flyers over Devils in 5 games? Stop jinxing my team. Barry Melrose picked the Rangers to win though, so the Devils have that going for them. Melrose is like the "reverse Nostradamus" of the hockey-picking world.

Its good to see kids like Dwight King and Jordan Nolan playing well for them. really liked those 2 when we had them in Manchester last year. 2 kids who know their role on the team and are team first guys.
good for Gagne. Hope he can get on the ice soon.

I picked the Flyers in 5 as well. I will not root for either team to win the series.

I dont remember what I wrote about the Flyers over the Devils (it is all a haze as I am trying to forget that series), but I think it was in 6. But the Devils will win this series. They have just been a better team in the playoffs so far, and I believe that will continue. It's not like I will be rooting for either team, now would be a good time for the apparent upcoming Apocalypse to hit prematurely.

oh, you're right, Quick is widely known for not handling 100 foot shots properly, the entire NHL knows this, as did nearest LA King. good point.

Just because a lot of Flyers fans were overconfident leading up to that series against the Devils doesn't mean Every.Single.Flyers.Fan felt that way.

Going into that series I've said it countless times that either team could win it. I never once said "The Flyers will take it in 5" or whatever, so stop generalizing.

You know what, though? I actually think Bryz does, as well, and if there's one thing I'd say he doesn't do, it's imploding after giving up an early bad goal.

som you have proven the Rangers have a better defense and goaltending then the Flyers. the latter by a healthy margin.
good job.
