Radulov could have been traded away to Montreal or Buffalo back at the trade deadline... he was a high-risk asset to be dealt back then. That high-risk value was a low first, roughly what Andrei Kostitsyn was worth.
What would he fetch now? More than what the Preds paid for Gaustad or the Kostitsyns?
I think his rights are almost worthless right now due to the complete uncertainty about his intentions about returning to the KHL. Why would anyone risk giving up any kind of asset only to have Rads go back to the KHL and not come back to the NHL until he's a UFA?
And it's not like he really made a big splash with his return...he was good, but he was not the dominant game-changer he was thought to be. Plus there was the whole drunken playoff debacle. He still has a lot to prove.

No way he get's a huge contract from any NHL team at this point until he shows he is worth it. He used to be one of my favorite Preds. Now, not so much.
Radulov, much like before he came back, is worth more to the Predators than in trade. One dumb decision doesn't change that, especially when he was our best forward throughout most of the playoffs.
No but the predatorial is a reputable source. Theyre pretty in the know, and the Preds would not hold an announcement to announce Rads going back to Russia

no it's not. it is just a blog.
it has nice, well-written articles. But as a source for breaking news regarding the preds, I would have serious doubts.
Is it at all meaningful that just about all of the Euro Predators are currently playing in the Worlds and Rads is not? I count 23 on the Russian roster, so I think there's still a couple of spots open.

It's an injury, he has a bum knee or something like that.
