Look. D can plug in on the 4th line as a forward but Forwards do not switch to D. Byfulien is the exception..........AND Goalies can switch to Forwards and D can switch to Coaches.

When we had Volchenkov I always wanted to see how he'd do in nets.

A long those lines if Ottawa already has Anderson and Bishop in goal for next season, and Robin Lehner is bored in the AHL, why not just bring him up to be a forward?

How about we move Alfredsson back on D, pair him with Karlsson on the first pairing and sign a UFA forward!

I must say, I'd really like to see JOB play D. I think his skill set is better suited to that position but he's probably past the point of no return in his development. I'd be nice to see him get off more clappers as he has a really heavy shot that rarely gets used.

I know PP and even-strength are clearly different situations, but wasn't Hoffman used at the point on the PP for Bingo for a while, or did I somehow invent this?

We could just sign Schubert. Kill two birds with one stone.

Didn't he used to play as D until he was like 16 or something?
