Well, the Rangers were outplayed for 40 mins but regrouped and showed up for the third. The Devils never recovered mentally after that first goal. That's all she wrote.
I think this is by far the best post of the thread. It kind of reminds me of the other thread where the Rangers supposedly have never faced an offensive force like the Devils yet in the playoffs. The goal is not only a result of a bad call, but a NON-CALL. I wonder how this relates to the Devils lack of scoring though??
It relates to the Rangers lack of scoring which is just as relevant.

They were flat for 40M, tons of fatigue showing. That goal by Girardi really ignited them.

There will never, ever be a hockey game that doesn't end with the losing team's fans saying "luck, refs, butthurt, etc." It's not exclusive to any team and every fanbase is guilty of it.
May the best team win.
Exactly
Everyone does it so its just dumb to even bring up
Except his hand went directly on top of it. It is a penalty, and if you think otherwise you're wrong.
No, you are wrong.
Quote:
67.1 Handling Puck - A player shall be permitted to stop or “bat” a puck in the air with his open hand, or push it along the ice with his hand, and the play shall not be stopped unless, in the opinion of the Referee, he has deliberately directed the puck to a teammate in any zone other than the defending zone, in which case the play shall be stopped and a face-off conducted (see Rule 79 – Hand Pass). Play will not be stopped for any hand pass by players in their own defending zone.
67.2 Minor Penalty – Player - A player shall be permitted to catch the puck out of the air but must immediately place it or knock it down to the ice. If he catches it and skates with it, either to avoid a check or to gain a territorial advantage over his opponent, a minor penalty shall be assessed for “closing his hand on the puck”. A minor penalty shall be imposed on a player who, while play is in progress, picks up the puck off the ice with his hand.
Look at the goal differential last year for the Bruins- when they lost they lost by a goal. When they won, they won like 8-1. That team would eviscerate the Rangers. Not taking anything away, they are a hard working team. Good for them. Don't have any delusions that they are a great team. They were dominated almost every game and won by a goal. Very admirable.
