Well, to be fair, this is most any fan-base on HF. No need to pick on the Devils fans for something every fan base does. Rather, every fan-base has fans exhibiting that behaviour and it will show in HF, because those types of people tend to post first and think later.
PS: This is also one of the reasons larger fan-bases appear more obnoxious.
This game was like the Rangers-Flyers games from this season. Philly would come hard but Henrik was there to make the key stops. The Rangers would come hard,the opposing goalie couldn't make the key stops.
The Rangers had much more open room last night than they saw against Washington. The Caps played like the Rangers. Holtby was there for the key stops.
The Rangers have played their two worst games in games 2s. Torts has to drill it into their heads about coming out strong in game 2. Carkner attacked Boyle and the Rangers looked lost on the 5 minute major. The Rangers went down 2-0 to the Caps on two stupid breakdowns. They battle back to tie up the game but take two stupid penalties. The Boyle offensive zone penalty and the Richards grabbing Carlson penalty.
If they want another long series,lose game 2.
Take care of business and win game 2. There is a two day break between game 2 and game 3. The Rangers will have the day off on Thursday. Return to the ice on Friday.
Anyone have any clue where I could find one of those Reebok Rangers playoffs hats many of the players have been wearing in their post game interviews? Ya know the blue ones with the white brim and "New York" written across the brim? I cant find them anywhere.

Ignoring that most of the arenas in the NHL have bad ice at this point (multi use arenas) and it's not like the Rangers gameplan doesn't also involve handling the puck, passing it to teammates, and shooting the puck
Look, if the puck is bouncing and you need to hold it in, use your body or make the safer play and turn around and be ready to get back on defense. Bouncing pucks are nothing new to either of these teams and no one gets an advantage from it
