Thanks DeadPuck. There has to be something. Come on, you just can't say that. Imagine what would happen if one of our guys said "We need to injure someone out there" and then someone happens to hit Kovalchuk in the head giving him a concussion.

Their fans take after Chico Resch who whines more then my 7 year old niece. I think he feels that every goal Fatso has allowed in his career, he's been interfered with.

Hank always has only good things to say about Maaarty, at least publically. Meanwhile, Fatso jabs at Hank for his team's shot blocking mentality, saying he only saw him for 10 mins thoughout the game because there were always Rangers players around him. Hank COULD say that Marty was lucky to play on Devils teams that were great at limiting chances against Fatso, and gave him 15 shots a game that he had to stop, but instead, he said that he was lucky enough to play against Hasek, and ranks Maaaaarty in the same category. But Uncle daddy will always find some way to take a jab at him, even if complimenting him. (Because the media always asks him about Hank, and I'm sure Fatso is aware of his horrible record against Hank.)

There is no dispute that Marty is a great goalie and it's sad that he'll be riding his wheel chair off into the sunset as a whining little *****.

Only because of his pads, chest protector, and 6 goalie system, brah.

Just stop. Especially Marty. The trap helped him to 3 Cups.

The good: They played their game. They won.

The meh: Pretty sloppy second(s), but again the Rangers bend but don't break.

Wednesday is the key.

They win Wednesday and I anticipate a quick series. Devils are not winning four of five against this team.

Well done blue. Keep it going.

Dude, I was taking a shot at the Devils fans complaining that NY traps and blocks shots. I mean come on! If you feel you can take the hit are you going to let Kovelchuk wind up and blast one? No. They talk like playing good D and blocking shots is bad hockey. I disagree. Standing 3 fs and a d man up at the red and blue lines and clutching and grabbing your way to 3 cups is bad hockey. In fact I happen to find the shot blocking a very exciting part to their game. There was a 7 minute stretch at the end of one of the ott wins I was on the edge of my seat watching them block shots, sacrifice body parts and goaltending their way to a victory. Seven minutes of heart attack hockey! Nothing more exciting than that!

Reading the Debbie board is hilarious. The level of frustration and whining is off the charts. They have no confidence in their team. They are our *****es and they know it. Blaming the ice, the refs, shot blocking. Very, very funny.

Devils fans seem intimidated from what I have seen. They know this aint a soft defense and that it damn sure is not Bryzgalov in the net

Sorry for the confusion guys. I love, love, love "the six goalie system". I think its absolutely amazing some of the shots they manage to get in front of. You know why the rest of the league and their fans hate the Rangers system? Because they're affraid of laying down in front of so many shots themselves.

That would be really nice. It would give them the best shot at the Kings\Yotes, especially if that one goes 7 and it would shut the Devils fans up about it being an easy series.

Good game last night.

1st round. Pressure to not be eliminated by the 8th seeded team.
2nd round. Pressure because of history.
3rd round. I wasn't worried at all last night. They haven't got the same offensive threat as the capitals. Their goaltender might be on a hot streak but Holtby and Andersons hot streaks were better. History will work as our advantage this series and the devils will have the same pressure as we had in the 2nd round.

Let's not get over confident now. The Rangers won game 1 in the Ottawa and Washington series and then lost game 2. Game 2 is key.

The main board thread is hilarious. They're all whining that MDZ should have gotten a penalty when reality says, that hasn't been called all playoffs! They whine for consistent reffing and actually get it, and they whine some more! I don't think I've seen a fanbase cry as much as they are. Bunch of babies.

That's what some of the devils said as well. If they lose game 2 they have to win 4 straight to avoid playing game 7 in MSG.

-I thought Girardi had a subpar game up until the goal. Perhaps I am just use to him playing at such a high level and I am spoiled.

-Marc Staal is playing incredible hockey right now. He was an absolute animal last night. Best player on the ice for us by a wide margin.

-McD, same old story with him. He is just amazingly effective and consistent. I love watching him play.

-Henrik looked sharp.

-That was an interesting shift by Rupp at the end of the game. I guess he felt there wasn't enough animosity in the game and tried to create some.

-I don't remember the Devils forechecking like this in the regular season. They really force the opposing defense to make quick smart decisions. I can see why the Flyers defense had such an issue with them.

-I am glad Torts didn't bench Kreider after the penalty he took. I don't want him or Hagelin to start playing scared. I love their aggressive style down low.

-Overall decent effort considering we played a game 7 on Saturday. Big game on Weds to hold home field advantage.
