But really since it's impossible to know what the injury is it's impossible to forecast when he'll be back, and as much as I'd like to know I'd rather them keep that information away from current and potential future opponents.
lol, I love how he rocks the 60s style side part hair style.

That picture makes me miss him though. All of this could have been prevented if he simply brought the stache back.

At the start of the yr Dubi wa in our top 6. Now if he can come back he adds great depth. Yea he had an off yr but he's a gritty guy and original Ranger. He will come to play and could really help.

Even if he starts at 4th line C and gets sprinkled into the PP and other lines.

No idea what is wrong with him, but it seems like he is still a long way away based on the utter silence we've gotten.

It'd be nice to have a full roster soon.

Especially with West Coast travel a possibility.

Don't think he comes back unless we play in the SC. If we're looking at a Kings-Rangers final Dubi will be a huge part in getting the Kings off their game... Dubi-Richards rivalry will definitely be a factor.

I do not however want to substitute Dubi with someone like Kreider. He adds offense and speed to this team, when he was off the 2nd line our offense was struggling to score 1 goal a game. I can't imagine us being successful against a team with a goalie as good as Quick with him on the 2nd line.

Dubi's should replace Mitchell, even tho Mitchell is playing rather well lately.

Really hope he can come back in this series. As of Game 1, I believe that he would thrive in this environment, specifically on the PK where the Devils give up many short handed chances.

I think he could have made a real difference tonight. He could get the puck out of the zone using his body. We looked lost out there tonight...

dubi is such a huge gap in the roster. he gets guys pushing past their limits. even a hurt dubi would probably make enough of an impact to be worth playing him-- even if it's for rupp time.

Wouldn't shock me. Been out for three weeks now and hasn't come close to touching the ice.

So, after all that talk of trading Dubi, he ends up missing a chunk of the play offs, and I have to admit, this team misses him.

Dubi makes us a different, better team.

question is can we survive next season without him? 4 million for role player is steep... especially one who isn't in a leadership role.

Would having him as an option right now be better than playing, say, Rupp or Mitchell? Sure. By the same token, it'd be a damn fine option to have whomever (Nash?) we could've gotten in exchange for him instead of Rupp or Mitchell too!!!

Given that there's no option to parlay him into another asset right now, I agree it'd be nice to have him back. But are you really trying to spin the team's current position (as one of the 4 teams left playing hockey despite no offensive contribution from him during the regular season and no contribution at all during the vast majority of the POs) as a "see, I told you it would've been a bad idea to trade Dubi..."?!?!?

I wish we had Dubinsky to match up against Clarkson.

no...but since he didn't get traded, Dubinsky would make a a better team without question. And through he wasn't scoring Goals.......I have no doubts he would have made plays that make a difference in the Outcome of some of these games

Mitchell hasn't scored a goal since January. Having Dubinsky on the ice instead of him raises the chance of scoring a goal at least a little bit. Plus when he was centering the 3rd line at the beginning of the playoffs he was solid.

Agreed. Dubinsky can neutralize Clarkson and get him to take bad penalties. Bickel was letting Clarkson get in his head last night.

Also, the Rangers really struggled along the boards last night. Dubi's board play is one of his strengths and he would have helped in that area. His puck possession would have been an asset as well, a lot of players last night were having trouble protecting the puck.
