for excitement I'd say Bulmer, Coyle, Granlund.

Oh yeah, definitely not a guy who will get you out of your seat with a sweet play, but man watching this years defense we really could have used a Johnsson-type player.

I rank by tier, with no actual ranking within tier:

Tier 1:
Granlund, Brodin, Coyle

Tier 2:
Larsson, Bulmer, Zucker, Phillips, Hackett

Tier 3:
Gustafsson, Lucia, Kuemper, Haula, Cuma

Tier 4:
Almond, McMillan, Foucault, etc.

I expect our #1 pick to swell the ranks of tier 1 this summer.

Sadly, I kinda agree. He's got the tools and the body size. Unfortunate, but that's the way it goes.

I continuously find myself singing Dolly Parton's "Jolene" under my breath except I replace the lyrics with Brodin...

Whenever I hear this (not that I listen to that kind of crap normally, but it's a good bass test when cruising):

... I tend to replace "turn me on" with "Spurgeon". Hilarity ensues, at least in my mind.

Larsson, Brodin and Granlund are all kick-ass prospects. I'd be very surprised and disappointed if that right there wasn't three key parts of the Wild's NHL future.

I think both Granlund (duh) and Larsson both make the Wild roster out of camp this coming season.

I sure hope so. Brodin seems extremely mature as well so he might not be far off either

I think all three will make the team. And then we'll get to see Coyle and Phillips called up too at some point. Imagine that, skilled call-up players

Agreed, I think the three Euros will make it. They seem ready for the challenge and of course it's a lot harder to sell guys coming from top pro leagues in Europe to play in the minors here. Plus there's not much competition.

I think Johan's work ethic alone gets him a spot. Yeo will probably fall in love with the kid. Between that, his leadership and unwillingness to give up, he seems to fit the Yeo mold.

Klefbom did a bigger step this season, especially after JWC. Such a huge step it surprised everyone, him aswell I reckon.
While Brodin has been solid and our best D overall the last 2 seasons.

I also think he got selected due to his outstanding WC performance more than the actual SEL performance. Cuz if ur not a Färjestad fan u might not even think of Brodin when watching the games, cuz he's so young and unheard of outside Karlstad and never do any flashy things on the ice, just his easy style of play, so much hard work getting unnoticed if u don't watch the games in the arena.

It was in the WC the wider audience finally get to hear about him.
None on the NHL players even knew he existed before they joined the team in Stockholm. Some even thought he was some random school bloke on a visit in the dressing room xD Guess it's cuz he's a bit shy and lost outside the rink lol.
Tho of course all "proper" hockey fans knew who he was already.
