I wouldn't be surprised to see:

All players wearing half-visors
Lacrosse-style shootout attempts
4th line predominantly eliminated, used as three roster spots for utility skaters
"Shootout specialists"
No touch icing
Smaller average player height (forwards)
Increase in players from Switzerland, USA
NHL prospects from Asian countries

The position of goalie will be rendered obsolete.

Once the Rangers start icing 6 shot-blocking skaters, teams will realize there is no need for pillow wearing weirdos with funny looking sticks.

With no goalie, teams will block the net Voltron style, by banding together to cover every inch.

Players will be allowed to slam dunk pucks into the nets for 2 points.

Gary Bettman will still be a ******. There will be a team in Quebec, Hamilton, Vegas, + 1 more SW ONT.
Don Cherry will still be hitting Ron Maclean with hard plastic equipment that is causing major injuries, then getting oxygen from his mask to go get air for his next rant.
Head shots will be 100% banned.
CAP will be $85 million, with option to go over with huge penalties, so Leafs will be able to overpay UFA's to at least get them to think of playing for them.
3 canadian teams will win cups, 2 Oilers, 1 Winnipeg
Detroit will still be a contender as players take less money, to play for well run organization.
Carrie Underwood will still be hot, and she will be my wife...sweet
-Nets won't be bigger, but goalies better be smaller
-Concussions will hopefully be slightly down due to better protective equipment
-There'll be more teams north probably not Quebec or Hamilton though
-Don Cherry will be dead after a Russain player either captains a team to a cup or wins the Conn Smythe afain, or both
-Headshots will be 100% banned and about time too.
-The cap will be significantly higher. Players who look overpayed now with long contract will look more reasonable then
-I don't think 3 Canadian teams will win Cups. Could see one or two doing it.
-Detroit will still attract good players indeed
-Virtual spouse will be the bomb
