The Ultimate Coaching Poll

Everyone had to know this was coming. Might take a second for me to setup up the poll so hold your horses.

Since I'm not allowed to vote in the poll, can I throw myself into the mix? I would be a great coach.

Voted MacTavish, as he's my favorite among the realistic options.

Therrien. Just to see how he would treat Jeff Schultz.

Voted for JJ, because he's the most in line with what I expect to happen.

Not my favorite for the job though.

I'm starting to prefer Eakins but I'll say Maurice.

MacTavish or Hartley IMO are the best realistic options. Of the two I guess I would prefer Hartley but I'd be fine with MacTavish also. I guess my 3rd choice would be Carbonneau.

Who will get it?

Neither of those

Are people that stupid about JJ?

He was terrible.

JC ironed himself out.

Wideman played stupid all year.

The defense was terrible under his watch. They continued the stupid whole lets chase guys that are faster than us all season, the Kreider goal in game 1 was good example of it.

Hartley or Mactavish. I like Eakins, but don't want another inexperienced coach.

Vogel also thinks pool of possible coaches to choose from is small and new head coach could come possibly in house, mentioning Dean Evason.

just. no. words.

Dan Hellie mentioned this the other day on Twitter. I just stared at the phone. No reaction.

It would not surprise me.

Poor Evason will be looking over the list above, thinking he must have missed his name.

Evason should be on the list. Hell he is probably the most likely candidate. "We kicked the tires but there was no one better..."

It would be the ultimate in ironies if Coach Teflon got the job and took the team to a Cup.
