Gabby is second on the team in scoring....

How about we play Gabby AND Kreider and stop playing guys like Mitchell and Boyle? That way we win this period.

Next goal wins.

Coach Tortorella ignores the opposition and focuses ONLY on his team at their own peril...

The lawyer behind the Devils' bench is watching closely.

We should devote a thread to these two players and we should take 20 members to go on a fact finding mission as two why these two (especially Mitchell) are played so much.

edit: my spelling is atrocious

It's rigged they already have one in hand to call on us. It just can't be on Boyle. We need his blimp sized head blocking shots on the PK.

Both goals are a result of failure to transition out of our own zone properly. Ugh

Let's hope this isn't like the Caps series. Tied 2-2 in the third, horrible penalty call by ref, lose 3-2.

I mean if Zucc is able to come back, it has to be Mitchell sitting right, or does Torts not allow Zucc into the line up?

Devils with all the momentum that we had. If we went into the 3rd with the lead they were going to get super desperate and start taking chances which would have led to odd man rushes for us. Now they get to continue to play their pressure game. Hopefully we can score even strength here.

i don't even get excited when mitchell has the puck. he skates around, dekes around himself, confuses himself then loses the puck every time.

Its all up to Torts. If he continues to overplay guys like Boyle, its going to bite him hard.

Tortorella manages players like Mike Keenan, and uses rosters like Roger Neilson

I'm betting if Zucc is ready to go, then he'll play only if we start losing and get desperate. Other than that, i see Mitchell in for the long haul. Unfortunately.

Both goals were unforced turnovers that led to them. The Rangers just love throwing pucks out of the zone when they aren't pressured.

I don't think its even a player thing, its a coaching issue.

Mitchell has amazingly shown an extra gear in his skating. He can get a pretty decent burst of speed here and there.

Gaborik is still a dangerous player. He's found ways to atone for his mistakes.

Lots of hockey left.
