Best memory period. The first game i ever went to, my Dad took me to the game and after we went for strawberry cheesecake. After that night my love for hockey skyrocketed to unthinkable proportions. As well as my love for cheesecake.
Fixed the series title for you... Was this Game 2 highlight engraved in your memory for all time?

Yep... and I drove 3.5 hours just to get up there and got good seats too... and after it, I fought with the chick I was supposed to stay with cuz she was super drunk and couldnt wake up long enough to open the door... so I turned around, half drunk, and drove 3.5 hours back. Pretty ****** weekend.

The only Rangers game I've been to turned out to be very memorable. It was the Rangers at Coyotes this year, 2-2 until Brad Richard's goal in the final 0.2 seconds of the game won it for the Blueshirts! A good number of Rangers fan in the arena that night which was cool.

1. Game 5 vs the cRaps. Richie/Staal. Whooo!!!
2. 3 goals in 90 seconds against Brodeur. Jagr, Jagr, Shanny.
3. Zherdev ties the game late, win in SO vs Pens.
4. Rangers win in Carolina. Wolski ties it late, then wins it in the SO. Drove 10 hours with my fiancee to be there. It was awesome!
5. Rangers win in Buffalo, Gomez injures Miller. Boy were the fans up there mad....

Wow..I remember watching that game on tv. All those hats!. He was too humble to go on ice and take a bow to the fans..such a nice guy.
What ever happened to Pavelich?..I liked him cause he was into hunting and fishing like myself

Most memorable game for me was my first game as a kid. I caught a puck batted in the stands during warm ups by Mike Allison...boy I'm getting old!

Can't afford playoff games, so the one that jumps right to mind last year is against the Bruins on April 4th, where we came back from down a goal with 4 minutes left in the 3rd, then Sauer scores the GWG a minute later. Garden went insane.

being rubbish and european i've only ever been to one NHL game. That was Leafs vs Flames back in the old Maple Leaf Gardens. Leafs won 4-3. I was about 12 or something at the time, but greatly enjoyed it. There was even a fight in the crowd... down in the expensive seats no less.

I'll post ones since the lockout

1. Winter Classic- I'll absolutely never forget this experience. The 2-goal comeback made it better
2. 2012 Game 5 vs the Caps- enough said
3. 2007 Game 3 vs Buffalo-Rozsival 2OT winner
4. Game 7 vs OTT/WAS- Garden was electric

I was at a bunch pre-lockout as well but recently this is the best I've got. Hopefully more fond memories will be coming in the next month.

Playoffs 1986 Flyers at MSG. During National Anthem Huge sign drops from blue seats ...
"Dave Brown Eat Sh** and Die." Place went nuts. Same game George McPhee took on Brown at Center Ice. Good times.

For me personally it was 11/1/10 against the BLackhawks. It was the last game I went to with my mom before she passed away. Erik Christensen got the winner....yes Erik Christensen.

Haven't been to many regular-season games, nor any playoff games, but I did attend the first preseason game after 9/11. It was a surreal atmosphere for sure, and Rangers/Islanders to boot. Awesome experience.

I don't have a ticket package so I always end up at random games other than Opening Night which is always a must. I was too young to go to games in the 80s and 90s and really only started going live in college other than to Rangers/Islanders at the Coliseum because I grew up by there for almost 12 year. To only concentrate on the positive games and in no particular order

1. Winter Classic-Nuff Said

2. The Rangers/Islanders Game at the Nassau Coliseum in 2007 when Simon speared Hollweg in the throat-That was the most intense non playoff game I have ever been to and a back and forth battle that the Rangers won.

3. Blues vs. Rangers in February 2007-Valliquette's first start in goal, it was JD Appreciation Day. Rangers came back and won in the shootout in a game that turned their season around.

4. Opening Night 2005-It signified the beginning of a new era in Rangers hockey where the seeds for what we have today were planted.

5. Rangers vs. Sharks in 2008-These two teams always play good games vs. each other. It was Cally's second game back from the minors when a lot of us were unsure if he'd be able to regain his rookie form from the knee injury. He scored the first Rangers goal and got the ENG to seal the deal.

A lot of other random moments like the Jeff Toms Hat Trick on my BDay, Jason Krog GWG on my BDay, Fleury beats the Islanders in OT, the last ever Rangers game in Hartford come to mind but I don't want to concentrate on that era..hopefully a lot more memorable ones to come.

Tons of playoff games pre 94 but most memorable ones were the 1st 2 rounds in 94'. Then they kicked us out and we watched from home. lol

They said the NHL needed the tickets we won them in a lottery.

Monday night's game lol that was insane. number two has to be when Zherdev tied it with about 7 seconds left vs Pittsburgh and then we won in a shootout.

For me the most memorable was our first game vs the Caps last season, the one with Boogey's goal. Looking back I'm so glad I was there. My first game (vs the Devils in like 1999) ranks up there too. I believe Gravey scored the GWG but I could be wrong.

1) 1994 ECF game 6 -listened to the 1940 chant from the NJ crowd halfway through the game (score NJ 2 NY 0).

2)1994 ECF game 7 - Crowd going ballistic. Then.. DEv's score with 7 secs remaining and stone silence. You really could hear a pin drop between the end of third until overtime started.

3)SC finals/game 7. Deafening noise last minute of play until the horn sounded. Nerves were tingling. My daughter grabbed my arm with anticipation that the SC was NY's . A night to remember.

I went to the first preseason game after 9/11 too. But we were playing the NJ Devils. It was eerily empty at the Garden, considering the carnage that happened only days before in downtown Manhattan

Probably Gretzky's final game. Cried like a baby, though I was 12, when Mess came out to surprise Gretz.

my most memorable game was the first game Eddie G played at the garden after being traded to Detroit. Sat in eighth row behind red wings goal. The whole stands where cheering for everything he did good and everything the rangers did good. At the end of the game he took off his mask and you could see tears rolling down his cheeks.
