Back to the OP tho, this deal makes no sense for Toronto. It is, in fact, too much quantity for quality. You can get a potential franchise player with that pick, Id hold onto it if at all possible.
I also dont understand why Chicago is trying to get Grigorenko...they have a very competitive core, why woudl they give up assets for a player who wont impact their team significantly for a couple years?
I like how the proposal doesn't include either of McNeil or Saad...
McNeil + 18th overall, and I would consider it. But even then, probably not. Because the 18th overall has a good chance of amounting to nothing or just a second line talent, and McNeil looks like a 2nd line prospect, whereas the 5th overall could end up being a franchise player.
