Anyone doing "Delta Fan Flight" to game 3?

Just got the call that we were accepted--as much time as it would take, think it will be fun, gonna do it

Anyone else going? ...if you see someone in a white Leetch jersey, say hello! (not that there could be more than 1 Leetch jersey or anything...)

The funny part is there's going to be more ranger fans on that flight alone then devils fans in all of MSG for games 1 and 2

This is the dumbest thing in the world. No offense to you. Just the whole idea.

Did the Rangers contact you already?

I signed up last night around 10 PM. I don't know if I made the cut off before it got full.

This could be a fun thing but considering I live on the west side, it would make no sense for me to schlepp all the way to LGA. If I lived Queens, I'd do it.

Actually the #noblue thing was a lot dumber then this.

Funny thing is if you live in manhattan it'll take you longer to drive from manhattan to laguardia then manhattan to newark

This is ridiculously stupid. I'd rather just take that Rangers double decker bus to Newark.

The idea's feelings may never recover from this offense!

Bad jokes aside, agreed that it's a lot ridiculous. But like it would definitely be memorable--maybe doing it w/ my dad and a good friend. Nothing else I would do with my Saturday AM would I remember years from now. If it's any of the mid '90s alumni who are there that could be cool, for me at least...to meet one of the guys who brought me such happiness when I was a 10-year old.

8bit: someone called me around 1 PM today, but I signed up on the earlier side after hearing about it here, so maybe Angela's working her way down the list. I'd imagine the flight wouldn't fill up, but who knows

You gotta admit, it's a great counter to #noblue.

"You don't want rangers fans to attend? Well we're going to FLY IN fans from new york!"

There are hungry children around all around the world but Rangers fans get a free Delta flight across a river

That said I would totally do it.

Doing anything that involves the airport is nothing but a gigantic pain in the ass.
I guess if you live right there it makes sense, but otherwise it seems like a gigantic waste of time and effort.
Besides there's just too much stuff that could go wrong at a airport to make this worth wild.

I dont think hungry children can eat a flight.

I live in NJ and if I had tickets I'd consider doing this just for a goof! Very stupid, but I do stupid stuff all the time...

It'd be great if they just drove to the Rock via Plane.

that would require a small plane, and for the streets to be cleared out....

Although you never know with Dolan's money.

You guys are always good for a chuckle...

This is purely about "anything you can do, we WILL do better."
As much a silly thing as it is, I hope it gets filled and we show them up.

When I initially read the promotion on the site I thought it was a pretty awesome idea to get some people together and get a little rowdy in the devils barn.

I'm from a small town outside of Toronto...when I actually thought about it after I realized how god damn close these two teams are to each other....too rippered

Weird Idea.
