I did a 12 game pack. Can't wait for October. Having hockey played on my doorstep is going to be amazing.

I have three full season plans, even though I only really need two, and I won't be able to make it to all the games. So, I'll have tickets available frequently.

Love the orange, hate the jersey. Reminds me of Kinders BBQ.

Kings fan coming in peace (I know, it's an overused phrase on HF).

But I was wondering. Could the Bay Area use another NHL team? Be it this new AHL team becoming an NHL franchise or a potential relocation (maybe the Yotes). There's gonna be a new arena adjacent to AT&T Park that will be home to the Warriors in a few years. Would an SF team take a toll on the Sharks' fan base. It'd be great to have a rivalry inside the Bay Area. It would also create some rivalry between the cities of SF and SJ.

I don't think there are enough hockey fans to make it work. Bay Area teams pull fans from all over and most hockey fans here are Sharks fans and I dont think enough people would jump ship to a team in San Francisco. They could attract the yuppie AT&T team during the winter but I don't really think they could support a team with actual fans.

ECHL play doesn't warrant an hour drive for me. I don't even think it's worth it to drive for an hour to a Sharks game but I do so only because I like the color teal.

Sure it is! I drive from Petaluma to SJ for at least 20 games per season, and now I have Bulls season tickets (shorter commute)
