With Tippett crying about the refs, it's basically his white flag. That team is done and he's has given up. He can't talk about what his team needs to do to be better because he can't figure out. So he passes the blame off his dirty team and cries. Now we know where that pansy Mike Smith gets it from.

Kings are 4th NHL team to start playoffs 11-1 in last 30 years; the previous 3 all lost in Stanley Cup Final.

Ugh.
Not applicable. None of those teams won their games starting on the road.

The LA Kings are the 6th team in NHL history to win at least 8 straight road playoff games. The previous five teams ALL won a Stanley Cup.

I feel you and I'm pretty sure many other kings fans are feeling the same way.

Still can't believe what I'm seeing. One win away from going to the SC finals!? I never thought I'd see the day.

And Kopitar just seems to be getting better and better as the playoffs go on.

I am just beside myself with happiness. I have been thru so many disappointing postseasons with this team, year after year after frustrating year. So many bad results in the past, but it's like the wheel of fortune finally, finally has turned in our favor. And to watch these Kings lines move together on the ice like the parts of a Swiss timepiece, shift after shift, is just so freakin' satisfying.

That combined with the fact that the Kings were about to win....well, it just pushed it over the edge.

It was spectacular. I absolutely cannot wait until Sunday.
Louder than the final 2:00 of Game 4 vs. the Blues?

Wow.

Statistics like this are such baloney. Why would it matter on this Kings run? Statistics had us down vs. the Canucs and the Blues. And then people were so afraid of the Coyotes before the series started. I get cautious optimism but cheer up a bit. We're hot and we ain't stoppin'.

I'm playing California Black scratchers for fun, lol. Every time I scratch a 28, I go "Stoll!" an 8 I go "Dewey!"...I have fun.

Phx played a much better game tonight, but they just got beat by a better team.

Tippett sounds like a spoiled 3rd grader who can't win at handball on the playground. What a joke.

I would be embarassed if any Kings coach did a press conference and all he could do was blame the refs. No wonder his players play like *******!! - they have Tippett showing them how.
Tippett is a smart coach. He's using this to get inside the referee's heads for the next game. And, try to motivate his team some more..
