I don't profess to be an expert on scouting goalies, I find it the toughest position to scout by far, so I like to get as much input from others as possible.

If I were to predict how they'll go in the draft, I'd say Vasilevski, Subban and Dansk are the main three..and will likely be followed by Korpisalo, Paterson and Murray. Then Whitney, Gillies, Makarov, Tremblay etc. I sure wouldn't etch that in stone however.

There are usually always surprises however. San Jose will probably pick a kid from division three Germany or something in the second round.
And I have a goalie or two left on my list that I rank as high or higher than some of those.

I never took a goalie in a mock draft. I rather draft boom/bust fowards that end up undrafted for some reason.

With the 150th pick of this year's draft, the Chicago Blackhawks select; from the London Knights of the OHL, left winger Josh Anderson!

"We believe Josh possesses a tremendous amount of upside. He plays a very good two-way game with London and contributes physically too, laying on big hits and dropping the gloves when needed. His bloodlines are fantastic as well, as both Pete and Frank Mahovlich are his mother's cousins. Josh has received a lot of advice from Frank on the game of hockey. Josh's offensive game is still inconsistent but what we love is that his defensive game remains strong every game. A project at this point but one with a lot of potential to be a regular in the NHL. Not bad for a kid that wasn't even drafted into the OHL, but given a chance by the team when he received a try-out after being passed up."

Em Ancien has been PM'ed.

With the 151st pick of the 2012 NHL entry draft, the Vancouver Canucks are proud to select, from the United States National Team Development Program,...

Forward Matthew Lane.

Matt brings speed, skill and intensity to the rink, which makes him a very appealing prospect. He has the talent to be a regular contributor in the NHL and we think his ceiling is very high. His play at the U18s showed he can play at a high level, with and against quality players.

PM'ing Columbus

So that's why you were defending Mr Hache in the GDT

Hey, he's a man of his words... He actually feels he's a steal at that rank. Somehow, he can very well be right. I've seen a mock where someboyd else took him in the 3rd round. And I went as far as to think he'd not be picked. So I might very well be wrong. True that he didn't have the icetime after January 1st. So we'll see how he develops.

With the 154th pick in the NHL Entry Draft...

The Montreal Canadiens are proud to select....From Jokerit U20...Petteri Lindbohm!

We've kept a close eye on Petteri and was hoping he would slide down the ranks, when we saw him still on the board in the 6th round we had to take him. His big 6'3 209 lb frame mixed with his edgy nasty side he brings makes him a prime player that we feel can be a quality shutdown defensive defender in the NHL one day. We are extremely pleased with this pick.

Next GM Pm'd

Yeah I was debating between Lindbohm and a few others but I was considering him in the 4th, told myself okay if he falls I'll take him next pick without realizing I didn't have a 5th pick. So when I saw him still available in the 6th round I felt very comfortable taking him, I've heard alot of good things about him and I really like what he brings.

Welcome to my world, where I apparently don't pick between 127 and 187 or something. Anyhoo, Jokerit was more than happy to throw Lindbohm a three year contract, and considers him a very promising defender (under-rated ability to move the puck, imo), and that's enough to convince me he's worth at least a late round pick.

With the 155th overall pick in draft, the New York Islanders select Zane Jones of the Victoria Royals.

I don't know who is selecting for Toronto now?

Buddah told me he won't be able to pick for rounds 5 and 6, so someone can go ahead and make the selections as long as they don't pick in the next 5.
