If anybody knows what kind of plane they're flying, let us know.

Have Two Seats on Flight That I Can't Use

Ok folks..I just signed up for this site because I want to give these two seats away. Spoke to Angela and she said that the person going has to supply their exact info to her. I entered hoping to have tix but sadly I don't. Anyone want the seats, shoot me an email through my contact info. First reply gets them. Will provide information to contact Angela on your own. Just don't want this to go to waste. Don't want anything for it, of course, just ask that you pay it forward at some point.

My feelings exactly. lol!

Half the things we do as fans are stupid, lol. But I'm not gonna hate on passionate Rangers fans trying to have fun and support the team. I'd totally do it if I had the extra money, are you kidding me?

Heck, I'd fly a freakin' Rangers helicopter across the street to the Prudential Center if it were a possibility lol.

And I agree. I LOVE the idea that they are flying a plane in after the No Blue thing.

I can already see how ******** Devs fans are going to be--I mean, they couldn't even stand confetti. ahah.

In a world where fossil fuels are running out, pollution is ruining our atmosphere and our economy is in the toilet... This sounds like a great idea lol

It's basically the Rangers way of sticking it to the Devils and their "Say No To Blue" campaign. It's ridiculous and makes no sense whatsover from a logistics standpoint..but as a giant "F You" to the organization, it's brilliant.

Exactly, If I'm the Rangers I would Fly them in, Bus them in, Boat them in, Do whatever it takes to make sure there is plenty of Blue in those seats, even though there already will be!

I get it and all, but I would be absolutely pulling hair out with tedium of parking @ LGA, getting to the terminal, going through security, loading the plane, taxiing, flying, taxiing, getting off the plane, getting to ground transport and sitting in traffic in ground transport.

BTW, how do you get home?

It says ground transportation will be provided back to LGA, so I'm assuming by bus. I would SO do this since I'm within walking distance to the airport, but I'm not even sure if I'm going to the game yet.

There's probably going to be a good # of people from manhattan doing this, so I'm sure the bus will pull over on the way to LGA while it drives thru manhattan to let those people off

Great idea! Section 228, Row 9, seats 2 and 3.

As a Kings fan, I'm completely jealous that the Rangers can organize something like this, great stuff. I'm pulling for you guys, a Kings-Rangers final would be pretty epic

So that's where the streamer and baloon money is going this round...

Also, the potential for delays when flying is way too high for me to ever consider flying from LGA to Newark. The whole idea seems ridiculous, the Rangers should subsidize a fleet of charter buses to bus in fans from every neighborhood in NYC and lower Westchester instead.

The whole point of doing this is that it's totally impractical and ridiculous.

Chartering a bus is nothing. Anyone can do that for not a lot of money. Also I'm pretty sure delta is paying for everything in exchange for the advertising.

I get why you're doing it and didn't mean to come off as trying to rain on your parade. I just think as a fan I'd be scared of something going wrong and getting stuck on the tarmac in Queens. That or the TSA holding me back for an extra thorough patdown

I did this. It was super fun. Everyone from the fans to the Delta employees to the Rangers employees were super excited. We all got Rangers t-shirts for the event as well as gift bags including Delta and Rangers swag.

Security was a breeze because it was at the Delta Marine terminal which doesn't have a lot of passengers. No line or bother at all.

The flight departed around 10:16 and landed at 10:24. We really didn't get too high. As soon as we crossed the Hudson river, the flight attendant told us we were landing in 5 minutes. Someone said it only took 7 minutes 7 seconds. We got to Prudential Center around 11:20. It only took so long because when we got off the plane everyone was hanging out taking pictures. The bus ride from EWR was probably longer than the flight.

There was a bus going back to MSG and LGA but I caught a ride back with my friend.
