Canada for a decade consistently ranked as the best country to live in according to the United Nations. Forget a magazine, but it was the United Nations for crying out loud that stated Canada is a model for the rest of the world.

Like I said, bs calls. Let them play! I don't want to see calls like the holding and tripping if you don't touch the opponent, please.

We were quite good 5on5 so that's the main reason but could't really contain Russia PP.

Better team won today, no question about that. We couldn't bury our chances but Russia could. Varlamov was also way better than Vehanen. These two were the difference today: scoring efficiency and goaltending. The numbers 6-2 don't tell everything about the game.

However, I was disappointed to see the acting continue: Malkin and especially Tereshenko continued Yemelins ballerina acts. Sadly the acts also were of importance in this game. This is a disgusting trend and has alienated me from supporting Russia against anybody - this used to be an honorable team playing great hockey...

Respect for the Russian fans at the Hartwall Arena. They took the "6th player advance" away from us after the first period. That was expected though, the same thing happened in footy Euro Qualifications at the Olympic Stadium a few years back.

Good game, we had our chances but couldn't make them count. The Russians took their chances and Varlamov was awesome. Deserved win for our eastern neighbour.

Russia has good team. I like how their players come to play for NT and wear the national jersey with pride. No matter if some people dont appreciate these tournaments they still do. And UN is a joke.

Datsyuk wasn't that good today. Has he had some injuries or something?

those are the rumours. His role is different too, playing with high scoring wingers- he is much more defensive

Have to give credit to Russia (team)defence also.

Contained our first line really good and keeped us mostly away from prime goal scoring changes (and if they didn't they were able to control pucks from rebounds very well).

Finland has very good team, but smtimes it happens - they did everything right - find right tactics, put all their efforts, did their best, but lost. I think that they were better for the first 30 min. Feel little sorry for them - the result is much more terrible that they played.
I cant say I like everything in our game Our stars are just bigger and Malkin is the best in the world right now, no doubt. As for me, the best our game so far was with SWE.
But we played good team hockey, did as team and I like this.
Geno -
Bill -
I hope Finns will be able to forget about this and win bronze, liked the way you struggled.

All depends on how they perfom next year... But Bobrovsky does not matter really, he would be 3d in line

Tyutin is definitely better than Nikitin so yes and Bobrovsky is better than Barulin(though he has been good so far in this tournament) so yes too.

This piece of news should explain it:
http://www.mtv3.fi/uutiset/kotimaa.s...muiden-lippuja

A rough summary:

A bunch of russian hockey fans were, in an organized manner, blocking Finnish fans from being able to get their pre-reserved tickets for the game. After the deadline until which the reservations were valid, the russians stormed to the counter to claim the tickets.

This kind of behavior is something I have no words for... Good thing I wasn't there to witness it.

Oh, we will. We are the champions of bronze games.

+ also Mikko Koivu has never left the Worlds without a medal so I'm pretty confident we'll take it.

Congrats to team Russia, what a performance, I was very impressed, they were superior today, no question. They really embarrassed team Finland in front of their home crowd.

What can you say about Malkin, probably the best player in the world right now.

Bobrovsky showed nothing yet to compete for the Sochi roster. I believe he is skillful but not enough for Sochi
Tyutin makes so many errors during his defensive games in Columbus.
