a top-end goalie not yet talked about to be traded at draft - 100% certain
who knows , maybe Schneider is the one traded for a handsome return while Roberto stays .
A lot of Canucks fans, myself included, feel this very well could be the case. However, I don't think that Schneider fits under the category of "top goaltender" or someone who "no one is talking about." I think Schneider could very well become a top goaltender, but he's certainly not top 5 yet. My definition of top goaltender coudl be different from others though. YMMV.

I told ya so. I was right all along!
Would Nashville move Pekka Rinne if they thought they thought they couldn't retain both Weber and Suter long term?
I think if the Preds can keep their Norris horses on the back end, and add a bit more depth (maybe retain Hal Gill?) they don't need a $7M goalie in net. I personally think Rinne's value is inflated by the team/system in front of him, so it would make sense to move him.

Promised him i would keep it quiet for a few weeks, but he one the best in the game without question. And no one else is talking about him.
he's going with 100% but not an E5 so I don't know how much we can trust this
Eklund is a pathetic joke. Actually, he is worse than a joke. Who the hell is he anyway?
I remember a couple of weeks prior to the trade deadline this year that he posted about the Leafs pulling off a huge trade and that they had finally gotten their man (I am assuming he meant 1st line center). Apparently the deal was beyond done and they were just submitting it to the league and awaiting approval before it was to be announced. Well we're still waiting for that one.
Someone mentioned Backstrom. That, all be it a hard trade for a team to pull off with out gutting a rib or two from it's core and/or prospect pool. Is something I could see a few gm's pushing for.
He is a proven performer, even on weak teams. Not sure who'd be willing to build a package for him. Maybe Toronto or Tampa. Maybe a team that already has a trade connection and is looking to revamp in the off season like San Jose could put a package for him.
Maybe im just spit balling here, but I could def see a GM possibly trying to pull a trade for him.
Will it happen? Not sure, I lean slightly more towards unlikely, but it's not something so far fetched that you can bounce around the idea as food for thought.
