Problems with today's game:
- Parise is invisible
- Elias screws up every play he makes, he's snake bitten for sure
- Kovy can't finish
- Brodeur isn't perfect, but played well enough
Positives with today's game:
- 4th line was good
- ?
From looking at this I blame our forwards for this lose, if you saw the girardi goal you can see elias lose the faceoff cleanly man is he bad at draws, on the second goal kovy floats instead of getting the puck.
I knew once we couldn't score in the first 40 minutes that we were screwed
I don't know how anybody can say we dominated 40 minutes this game. We dominated the first 20, sucked the next 20 and absolutely flatlined the first 5 of the 3rd. THEN they woke up and played solid but not dominate imo.
Should have been 3-0 after the 1st period and our game to control from there. No finish.
All playoffs long..... we dominate in everything except goaltending!!!!!!! We aren't Detroit, and Brodeur isn't Osgood. We need Brodeur to be Brodeur.

Carbon copy of game 1. Only more shots actually made it on net than were blocked. They score one PP goal, and one even strength, and an empty net. Lundqvist gets the shutout.
I don't know what's worse. The PP or PK? The 6 on 5 beats both.
When the Devils PK was sucking their PP was actually good. The Panthers actually had a good PP the Rangers is garbage, and our PK is a mountain of GARBAGE, and will give up PP goals in every game I expect now. The PP is non existent. They looked better at even strength.

We dominated 20, then we were the better team for the next 20, then dominated for ~5 minutes, absolutely sucked for 2, and then dominated the next 13.
Things like this strengthen my atheistic belief. If God existed, 58 minutes should destroy 2 minutes.
I thought Devils played similarly in the third period as they did in the 1st and 2nd. It's just that Rangers made less mistakes and actually found the holes and scored. That 3rd period Devils is your team folks...

This, and lots of this. Crash the ****ing net and make the queen actually move his giant padded ass. That was like the easiest 36 shot shutout game ever.
Lundqvist is just to good. They have a better goalie and better team defense.
Even when the Devils were being called "the team that's ruining hockey" they could score more than the Rangers can right now. I bet no one in the media has the balls to call the Rangers that now.

Parise does it but he gets pushed off the puck easily in open ice. Clarkson doesn't have the skating ability. The 4th line does it, but they just didn't capitalize tonight.
There's really nothing to change. Lundqvist singlehandedly stole this game.
