I completely forgot that only Henrik Lundqvist benefits from the posts/crossbar. I nearly forgot that the league does it for him.
Yeah Lundqvist is the luckiest goalie in the world. Fatso should know that sharp goalies make the shooter aim more. But Fatso never got lucky in his entire life, well not counting his sister in-law.
This series is slightly reminding me of the Ottawa series. From the standpoint of the Devils are possessing the puck too much.
Rangers had trouble clearing the puck too in that series.

i must say, the devils play a very clean game. aside from using the occasional pick. which is just annoying...not dangerous, of course.

Rangers should have been down 2-0 or 3-0 at minimum after first period of game 2. Once again, Hank is superhuman. So between the rangers between highly opportunistic and Hank being arguably the best goalie in the world, they have taken control in this series. If I told you that the rangers would have only 2 even strength goals through the first three games, you have guessed they would be down 1-2 as opposed to being up.
I looked it up Eminger had 6:20 minutes of ice time. Almost triple what Bickel was seeing. Hopefully they can work that up to 10 minutes. Take some of pressure off our first pair.
I am so happy Bickel will probably not be playing D the rest of the way. I couldn't stand the guy. Guy was getting 2-3 minutes a game and was still on the ice for goals against.

fair enough. prust's action could deffo be called 'headhunting'. but other than that bad play, i'd say it has been a clean series. definitely a clean game. i thought the devils coach was characterizing the rangers in general as headhunters...which would be way offbase. thanks for clarifying btw.

actually, brodeur has stolen a two or three sure-fire goals too. in fact, while hank has been great, i'd say marty has made the more blatant steals.
Marty has played excellent but he's playing against a peer who is focused and in his prime. Expecting him to match Henrik save for save is insanity.
I give marty credit he has made good saves he sis still an idiot personally but he has kept his team in games. Although im sure he doesn't like kreider coming toward him lol

Kreider keeps the puck low with his wrister. Very effective.
