Darrell Sutter vs Torterella

One talks like he has had a stroke and is half asleep.....and the other , well, won't talk....

These two are great....but torts is a little arrogant, and sutter won't really give a straight answer...

Love to see there comments if these two meet in the finals

...edit ..Darryl.....

And I'm surprised more people don't talk about this potential rematch. If they both make it, they'd both be to the finals twice, both times against each other.

Which makes for an interesting story line if L.A. and New York meet in the finals I suppose. 2 coaches who were with different teams 8 years ago meet again in the finals. Hopefully this time Sutter comes out on top.

It's funny cause between the two it seems like Tortorella would be more capable of motivating a team, but LA is the most motivated team I've seen in a while.

Torts' pathetic sctick is getting very old. Fans and especially players should not have to put up with his facade.

The amount of hatred Torts is getting is epic . They are all so ******** about him not answering questions. Questions that are asked every single press conference and answered the same few ways by every coach using different words each time.

Are people really this bored? Keep it up though, I've enjoyed reading the rage on these threads.

Tortorella's press conferences are like watching a train wreck. You can't just turn away, even if you want to.

Besides, if you blink, you will miss them anyway.

Why do you ask questions that you already know the answer to?

I know personally, as a rangers fan, I'm sick of it

In the conference finals up 2-1?

Who cares! Our coach is mean to the media! How dare he!

The players love him. Richards chose to sign with us in part because he already knew Torts and liked playing for him. People who actually know more than the media's *****ing regarding the press conferences know Torts is actually a players coach. He sticks up for his guys (remember telling LB he probably got beat up at the bus stop? that was in response to LB writing an article mocking Redden for fighting), and he doesn't just yell at them arbitrarily. He just doesn't ******** them, and they like that. He kicks their ***** when they deserve it, and only when they deserve it. He gives them credit when they're going well.
