Only one person threw away the ball with the game tied. Pau Gasol. Trade him now.
So did Westbrook But of course they didn't make them pay.
I thought the Thunder were going to steamroll them so being down 3-1 isn't surprising but they should really be up 3-1. Even under Phil Jackson the team would go away from what got them the lead in the 4th quarter and blow games so I don't know what can be done.
As much hate as Kobe gets (i myself am not a big Kobe fan), he really is a great competitor. I watched some of the 4th quarter of the Lakers game tonight and he was doin anything he could do to get them back in it, didnt give up. No denying that he is one of the greatest basketball players of all time.
Mike Richards and Jeff Carter at the Dodger game, Carter rocking a Dodger cap, he seems to have assimilated himself to LA a lot quicker than Richards
I think in large part because he is happy to be out of Columbus and back with his buddy. If he had been traded here at first instead of Richards, we might have seen something different.
Richards has an obsession with baseball caps. I saw him wearing a Yankees cap a couple times. It's the only time I legitimately wanted to punch him in the face.
This team just doesn't have enough offense. Period. It pisses me off when I see Trout and Trumbo hitting bombs for the LA wannabes while the best we can do is station-to-station singles. We've hit 44 home runs. We've given up 54. Yeah, you're not a real contender if you're giving up more than you're hitting.
*******, get rid of Billingsley. Or at least demote him to the 'pen when Lilly returns. There is no way Billingsley deserves a spot in the rotation more than Eovaldi does. I've absolutely felt no confidence in Bills since the second half of 2009. The guy has reached his peak and is quickly declining.

Im hoping he is packaged in a deal. He has the stuff but seems to be a mental case. This game ugly pretty quick.

Yeah, but the problem is his trade value is down. Way down. We should've traded him back in 2010 when he was pitching well in meaningless games. We need bats badly. Getting sick of this small ball BS, which we suck at. I'm also hoping Chris Reed gets called up ASAP.

Ill admit that his value is down but he is one of those guys GMs think could use a change of scenery. The guy looks brilliant some games and then nights like tonight you just shake your head. With the Dodgers being in on Oswalt before he signed with the Rangers and hearing our names mentioned in the Dempster sweepstakes, it makes you think where they would put a new pitcher. Lily will be back soon and Harrang isnt going anywhere. I think you may be right about Bills being the odd man out if we get another pitcher. Eovaldi has been great but he has options and we know how Ned usually handles that.
he was the projected Ace of the staff a couple of years ago and now he's a fifth starter if that, I really think his broken leg a couple of years ago really affected his mechanics and the power in his legs
