I wonder if the players of any team even want to play this game. Maybe they should just toss a coin and give it to the winner.

Yeah, boring game probably. I'm only gonna watch this as I've seen so little from Czech Rep in this tournament (semifinal was the first whole game).

I'm not sure about this one. Erat's injury is huge loss for the Czechs that's for sure.

For Finland it depends of 2 things. Will our coach FINALLY do something about the second line that he's kept together for 14+ games this year which really sucks Granlund-Immonen-Pesonen. If he finally benches 2 of the guys from this line and completely breaks that line we have a good shot at winning.

The second thing is. Who will score the first goal. Finnish crowd/fans in the arena are really bad. If 1 goal is scored against us the crowd might just stay silent for the rest of the game. So it's better that Czechs will take the reins and score first so we'll come from behind and tie it so the crowd stays in the game, but the game has to be close though. Not a 3-0 for Czechs start. If we score first and Czechs tie it there's a good chance that the crowd will be quiet for the rest of the game (happened in Russia game after 1-1). It's because of the ticket fiasco (rich businessmen crowd sigh) and it's so embarrassing that in the FIN-RUS game, Russian fans kept more noise the entire game and it was more of a home game for them, even before the game was decided.

So my prediction is whoever scores the first goal loses . This is if goalie vs goalie & penalties are about even.

I want Finland to win just so Mikko Koivu will still have a medal for every international tournament he has participated in.

I think that Czech is the better team here but if they don't have any will to play, Finland has a chance to beat them. Hopefully they have some advantage due to longer resting time even though it's just couple of hours.

Would be nice to see us get a medal out of this tournament, but obviously not going to be easy.

Hopefully we will see a entertaining match.

I've allways been against mainstream in this one, I think every medal allways matters.. Its just not going to be big disappointment if we dont get the bronze, or its not worth partying if we get it, but it would make good sunday for sure.

Yesterday was so big annoyment that it can be hard for players to get on their best level thought. I was so annoyed, we played so great there, outplayed Russia but they just had so much better players who sniped it and made it count, and that broke our back and they got the controll of the game too with the 3-1 goal.

Today it feels better, we lost with a pretty good game, thats how you wanna lose if you must: for an better opponent with a good game.

We still are holding world champions... If we win, we get to be holding bronze medalists and champions in the same time for few hours. Is that some sort of record?

We always play well against Czechs and our teams are fairly even but IMO we have the slight edge. Plus we play for the home crowd and always want to win the bronze. We also had few more hours to prepare for this game.

Should get the win.

Last night he should've pulled him... Also why did he break up the first line for the 3rd, it was working good and we know its the most important line... Two big mistakes, what made it impossible to even try the comeback.

I hope Jalonen has the balls to break the 2nd line in this game, I think he should have because he had the balls to drop out Peltonen from the team as well, so I've been really confused with this one. If he does that we could have a chance to win it and not just rely on 1st and 4th line to do their job.

The arena seems pretty empty. That means finnish people only support their team when they are winning.

This is amazing all teams know you have to watch for the player jumping from the penalty box, and nonetheless these breakaways happen all the time....
