It's the Rangers... Hagelin got suspended for 3 matches, Ovechkin didn't get anything. Things are different in New York

For a team that has alot of miles on its legs these playoffs..not a good idea IMO.
Give Eminger and Bickel each 6-8 minutes on defense and go with 13 fowards.

Makes the most sense since Torts doesn't play more than 3 lines most of the game anyway, but I don't see it happening. I'd probably rather see Bickel on the wing--

they're not playing because he doesn't trust them. 12-16 minutes is more time than he trusts 1 of them with so it's more time than he trusts both with since he has that 'lack of coverage' on the ice the whole time they're out regardless of which one.

Dubi just practiced without a non-contact jersey. If he's good to go, I'd go with him.

He is definitely getting close. If Prust gets suspended and he is good to go, its a no brainer.

Alfredsson was injured and Girardi wasn't. The injury determines a lot as far as suspension length goes, which is the only thing that might save Prust from getting a suspension.

Did anyone else notice Girardi didn't play a shift after he got hurt blocking a shot late last game?

If Prust gets suspended, and if Dubi isn't ready, it's going to be 7 D again. Eminger looked awful but Torts will look to get him back into the scheme of things (he looked a step behind...if he dresses for a few more games it might be good for him) and Bickel IMO was having one of his better games in game 2, evidenced by the fact that Torts actually put him on the ice in the 3rd period lol

I think Eminger got better after a few slow shifts early. He's fine.

The injury-factor is complete and utter BS. I will never understand why an injury is more important than intent in determining the punishment.

I completely agree, but that's how it is
