Sens tell another half truth regarding injury?

http://www.ottawasun.com/Sports/Colu...5/1504518.html

Earlier this season Redden and Spezza were both day to day and both missed a month. Hasek's been day to day for 7 weeks. Now this. I guess we'll just wait and see if Chara is ready for the playoffs.

Which team doesn't stretch the truth when it comes to injuries?

They all do to some extent, but the Sens have been notorious about it this year, chronic misinformation.

Cloutier was day to day and missed the season.

Jovo was day to day and has been out almost 8 weeks.

Salo is just in limbo.

"Murray confirmed Chara had an MRI yesterday on his hand because there were also concerns about tendon damage in his wrist after he injured the hand in a fight with Pittsburgh defenceman Eric Cairns."

The wrist stuff is what happened to Lindros...they initially said just wait and let it heal with a brace, but it didnt work.

And I really don't understand why any team does it. Just come clean with what the injury is, how long it will take to heal and be done with it. It's not going to change anything by "revising" the return date of a player every week to a later than thought date.

What does it really matter? IMO the NFL way of doing things (all to help the gamblers) is ridiculous.

Why should an NFL head coach have to say that yes Brett Favre's left rib is cracked? So the other team knows exactly where to go after him?

I am devastated.

Now how am I going to beat up rookies and punch guys while they're being held back by the officials?

Not to mention that I steer the Millenium Falcon with that hand.

Excuse me, I must go cry now.

All NHL teams lie horribly about injuries in the playoffs... Vancouver and Ottawa just started a little early this year

Yeah vancouver is the worst team when it comes to telling the truth about injuries. Not just this year, but they do it every year.
