Leafs- Kaberle!

Unfortunately I'm not the first creative person to post this..

but every good thing that has happened this season for either Tucker, McCabe, Sundin, etc has usually started with Kaberle. He carries the puck so well and anchors that good PP like a champ. Too bad the rest of the team sucks and the PP is the only good element of it.

Here is the Most Payed Players on every team:

New Jersey - Brodeur
NY Islanders - Yashin
NY Rangers - Jagr
Philadelhia - Forsberg
Pittsburgh - Gonchar
Boston - Murray
Buffalo - Drury
Montreal - Kovalev
Ottawa - Alfredsson
Toronto - Sundin
Atlanta - Kovalchuk
Carolina - Weight
Florida - Luongo
Tampa Bay - St. Louis
Washington - Kolzig
Chicago - Khabibulin
Colombus - Fedorov
Detroit - Lidstrom
Nashville - Kariya
St. Louis - Tkachuk
Calgary - Iginla
Colorado - Sakic
Edmonton - Pronger
Minnesota - Gaborik
Vancouver - Naslund
Anaheim - S.Niedermyer
Dallas - Guerin
Los Angeles - Roenick
Phoenix - Doan
San Jose - J.Thornton

And the leagues most payed player is Jagr.

How many of those are MVPs of their teams this season? I bolded the ones that I think are MVPs. Luongo and Alfredsson is hard to point out as MVPs though since there are others on their teams that you could argue is just as valuable as they are.(Jokinen, Hasek etc.)

Wierd huh?

Dallas, as has been stated, is all Mike Modano.

Second place Zubov (most talented player), third place Lehtinen.

Surprise player of the year for the Stars - toss up between Daley and Jokinen.

It's hard to pick just one

I'd say Kyle Calder, though Brent Seabrook is close

Calgary- Kipper
Hart voting- Jags, Kipper, Alfie
I wonder if enough voters would actually vote for Lundy to split the vote between him and Jags? (actually, I don't. Mario Jr wins it and the Art Ross this year.)

Lecavalier is the leader of Lightning, at least based on the games I've seen. As I said before, nor does Forsberg lead the Flyers- that is Primeau's role. There is no way Fedorov is the MVP of Blue Jackets. Kariya has been decent with Predators, but for MVP try Marek Zidlicky. Ten PP goals, going to exceed 50 points. He is exellent. On your list Iginla is too inconsistent to be MVP, so I have to for Kiprusoff. And I think Flames' fans agree.
If I were you, I'd delete this post before someone makes a complete fool of you.

Flyers - Gagne/Niittymaki

Gagne because without him, the Flyers can't score.

Niittymaki because he was the best player in the 11 game road trip where the Flyers went 8-2-1.

Honorable mentions go to Forsberg for getting us at least five extra points in the standings, Knuble for missing zero games and filling in any role given to him...and leading the league in go-ahead goals, and Handzus for being amazing.

For the Pens, either Crosby or Fleury.

For the guy who said how can it be Gonchar, have you watched them this season.

He has 23 pts in his last 23 games(i think, don't hold me to that math), he has rebounded.

he was listing highest paid players.

richards is TB's mvp.
w/ so many injuries, i'd say niittymaki is flyers' mvp. or forsberg.
vokoun is definitely nashville's mvp.

fedorov could actually be CBJ's mvp. nash was injured most of the season. zherdev is much much better since fedorov has been mentoring him. fedorov also plays a ton on special teams.
