We're still 3-1.
People blaming Quick makes me wanna puke, he' s the main reason we are still playing, and people still bash him. This is ****ing unbelievable.

What kind of fans are you?
Go get a life.

This series belongs to us, relax.

Watch the third replay. He's in perfect position, moves to his right to make the save, and the puck goes back to where he was just standing. Impossible to stop. You guys are nuts.

It's not the goals though I'd say he could've played the first goal a little better. The loss certainly wasn't on him, but as others have alluded too, it's his body language and the way that he's moving that gives an uncomfortable feeling as a fan watching.

He's a complete disaster when playing the puck... nothing new there. However, lately when he moves laterally, there's been a few plays where it seems like he overcompensates and goes sliding too far to the sides. In this game he was flopping and rolling around in his crease like a pig in mud.

Again, not blaming Quick, but he hasn't looked calm and under control like how we're used to seeing.

Exactly. Are you not happy with Quock? Plenty of room on the Ducks bandwagon...

Um, I'm the one defending him bro. The other guys are saying he could have stopped a shot that took .05 seconds to get from Doans stick to the back of the net and changed directions on the way. Read all the posts before you chip me please

Sutter's not in a good mood starting the presser. Didnt like waiting 40 minutes for it to start.

It's pretty pathetic for anyone to be blaming Quick.

It's hard to blame Quick when the team didn't score any goals.

I wouldn't be that extreme by questioning people's faith in the team, however, he wasn't the sole culprit of the loss.

Look at the crappy PP, the lethargic play by the offense. Quick's play was just a small fraction of the problem today.

Ditto. That's whats driving me nuts.

The Kings looked like they were waiting for the game to open up and it just didn't happen.

The Kings need to impose their will on the game like they did before.

Today is literally one of those games where we didn't get the breaks. Lewis missed a short handed breakaway, Brown missed when Kopi stole the puck from Smith, Kopitar hit the far post when it was 1-0, Mitchell post, Richards didn't finish on a partial breakaway, Penner missed in the slot, Smith accidentally made a save on Kopitar when he was lying on his back and just happened to put his glove down in the right spot, both of Doan's goals were flukes, on an on and on. We outplayed them for the most part and just need our pp to score a goal once in a while. Everyone just needs to chill, we got this

I blame Tippet's collection of divers.. That is what Sutter needs to blame the loss on. Clearly the main factor in wins this post season.

This whole series feels very familiar to the Vancouver series. Solid win in game 1. Big win in game 2. Hard fought win in game 3. Lose game 4. ????

Let's hope that trends continues.

He has looked sharper than Quick, end of story.

Of course, it helps if you are busy all the time as a goaltender so you can stay in your rhythm. Smith has been far busier than Quick.

The Kings have out-shot and out-chanced the Coyotes this whole series by a ton. The Kings have played bigger, been faster, and have possessed the puck far better. Smith is the biggest reason why this mismatch of a series hasn't been even a bigger mismatch. He basically stole the game today. Smith has been the best single player, the Kings by far the better overall team.

The second one was absolutely deflected, change directions off of Penners glove. The first one I wasn't sure about, but while I was watching intermission on CBC the guys were asking Hrudey if it was a soft goal. He didn't feel it was. He was saying those back hand goals up close are the most difficult for a goalie to stop because it is more of a reactionary, I will just shove it at the net type deal. The player doesn't know where it is going, he hasn't picked a spot, and in turn the goalie obviously can't read the play.

We lost the special teams battle and didn't get bounces.
Hard not to get spoiled with the recent success, but can't win em all.
It would be nice to get the damn PP going though.
We'll close it out Tuesday.

Exactly my thoughts. Typical afternoon game snooze-fest.

2-10 now in afternoon games this season IIRC.

Disappointing, but not surprising. Time to rebound on Tuesday.

Maybe easy is the wrong word, but we all know the pp is the kings Achilles heel. Has been for two seasons.

Kings should win game 5. All the pressure is on Phoenix to hold at home.
