Now Bragin as a club head coach is also a mystery to me, he's a strict coach, and this kind of near-soviet methods will not work with spoiled adult players. Not to mention that he comes from Spartak organization - but that's the least of my concerns, right now.
Bykov is also huge on discipline, maybe its a good thing. I think spoiled adult players should get over themselves. But either way, CSKA is very young and Red Army has so many prospects that again, a Bragin-Bykov type discipline will do them good.

many prospects will be hard to keep in the draft: goalies are rated 1 and 3, at least field players in top-10 as well.

Hello folks! I was wondering if anyone has a reliable link or would like to update all the recent transfers of each club for the upcoming 2012-2013 season? - Also, being in Canada and with the Stanley Cup playoffs on and my local club still in the AHL Calder Cup playoffs (St. John's IceCaps) I've had a hard time following what's going on over in the KHL -

or try to scroll IHF or this thread.

Thanks. Trying to keep tabs on SKA Saint Petersburg. Friend of mine is a goaltender in the club. Went to school with me in Canada when he played juniors here. Thanks again.

IMO best way how to find correct info is khl website (russian version). Use russian version, you can find there info about lenght of contract and also english transcription of a player.

for example your friend (if I understand you) Ilya Ezhov

Quote:
Вид контракта: Двусторонний КХЛ/ВХЛ
Контракт до: 30.04.2013
Quote:
type of contract: two-way КHL/VHL
valid until: 30.04.2013
this khl website is not updated yet but I am sure it will be after WHC (or during june and summer).

I read in some other thread that CSKA will make serious push to get back Grigorenko. How serious is that ? I really hope that Grigorenko will be back with Red Army

8 players leave CSKA - Surovy (already known to Lev), Gaiduchenko, pashnin to (loko), Chaslava, Yashin, Badyukov, Pronin, Vero - I don't really regret any - all are over the hill, Chaslava didn't pan out much, Vero in CSKA was purely offensive

Stana was good last year, but had some bad games, since he had no back up and got no rest...Is Kasutin a FA? I have a gut feeling it may be him

Looking forward to seeing your frustrated posts about Sprukts during next two years.

I honestly can't believe they took up a foreign spot with a Latvian (no offense)...there's no logic to what they are doing, nothing will get me upset any more. At least he may be good on PK

No offense taken, because I agree. He is a great PK specialist on a foreigners wage for two years! He has stone hands, he can't skate and has no vision. He may have good stats but that's simply a result of the icetime he got in Riga. If anything CSKA should have taken flyer on M. Redlihs, but even that's a stretch.

I agree, Redlihs is going to Yaroslavl', Darzinsh completely failed in Kazan'...there's a huge difference between having ton of ice time on an average team, and 12-14 minutes per game away from home.
