The Rangers skated at the Garden today. They will go the hotel. Grab some food. Catch a nap. Then board the bus for Newark. During the season, they would skate in Newark on game days. Jersey did the same thing when they played at the Garden.
If the Rangers didn't bring in Kreider, they would have been screwed. If Kreider wasn't ready to contribute, they would have been screwed. They didn't add any depth up front at the deadline.
Woke up to a glorious graduation present from me mum.
I'll be sitting in section 15 proudly wearing my McDonagh heritage t-shirt. Hoping to see blue well-represented in the arena tonight!
Devils will be gunning for that early quick goal. If we can weather the storm in the first 10 minutes or so, the frustration may start to mount and Hank will be in their heads.
Is there anyplace I can go to rewatch tonight's game? I'm working till 11. Usually I know during the regular season they played the games again at 1 am... Is there anywhere online I can go??? I don't have a DVR, but I might have to invest in one it seems.
If I don't see any killer instinct from this team tonight to put the dagger in their throats, then I don't believe they will EVER have it.
This is a huge statement game tonight, take this ****ing game and stop with the subconscious "we are still up by one, and still have home ice advantage" Just go out there and dominate the game, and take it back to the garden for a chance to claim the prince of wales trophy, and move on to what really matters...
A Rangers fan just called into Joe & Evan and said how they handed out little red flashlights or glow sticks or something to the fans before game 3 so you could see them during the pre-game blackout in the arena. Then 5 minutes into the first the ushers came around with boxes and asked for all of them back
Joe & Evan took that and ran with it talking about financial problems and such. It was fun to listen to. I will agree with them on one point: Evan said how he went to a game there and the music is just deafeningly loud. He is 100% right. They blast all kinds of awful music. Also the P.A. mic is set on max. It's enough to want ear plugs it's so loud. The best is when they put the noise meter on the jumbotron, then proceed to squash out any crowd noise with terrible, extremely loud music.
Devils fans can say all they want about MSG being old and dilapidated, but if you want a proper hockey experience, that's where you want to be.
Anyway, looking forward to the game tonight. It'd be nice for our big guys (Richards and Gaborik) to actually pot a couple this series.
