Wouldn't you say?
I think Semin will have 3 options...

1-take a short term deal for good money, 1-2-3 year deal for 5-6.25 mil/year
2-go for longer term and take less money 4-5 years 4-5 mil
3-go to the KHL and get 3-4 years at 5+ mil/year

I thought Nikulin was among the absolute, of not THE, best defemen at the worlds.

I like your thinking. It's good to overcome the prejudice against talented Russians. I. too, wondered why the Habs didn't make more of an effort to bring back Perezhogin.

Maybe he doesn't want to come back, and he is perfectly happy playing in his home country with his family and the culture (language, etc..) He is well paid for that, too.

We never heard him saying he would like to come back to NHL hockey.

You know i changed my mind, Id rather the Devils win despite the fact I hate Brodeur more than anyone else not named Chara.

I just cant handle all the whining over McDonagh.

Yeah, the way he brought it into the conversation just made him look desperate.

Rangers are so full of themselves it's sickening. Glad to see them imploding tonight.

Hopefully somebody runs Lundqvist after that shot by Rupp.

Rangers losing their marbles. I want Jersey to win, Tortellini is such a dirtbag. He whines constantly about cheap shots and that is all NY has done all game when they are losing.

WT You know children come to these message boards. Now their parents will have to calm them down from the nightmares they have tonight.

I think I might have one myself.

What I've seen of the Rangers-Devils skirmishes convinces me that the Habs aren't cut out for those games. They're too brutally physical. Adding a "big center" with the #3 pick wouldn't be enough.

Holy ****, Dustin Penner just beat out an icing call!

and the Coyotes just took a delay of game penalty with 40 seconds left in the game, tied 3-3.
