I've only watched the last 2 minutes of this Thunder/Lakers game, but I am already remembering why I cannot stand watching ANY Lakers game.

They are f***ing getting away with murder in the last 2 minutes, fouling the s**t out of the Thunder, and in a KEY rebound, Durant gets hacked, loses the ball, and the Thunder get called for a foul.

And it's absolutely f***ing disgusting having to listen to ESPN and their announcers suck on the metaphorical member of the Lakers, especially Kobe Bryant (whom I'll forever believe is the MOST OVERRATED player to ever play)

****EDIT****

And as the game ends, I see ACTUAL STREAMERS being thrown by fans, as if they've actually won something. It's just 1 game, the Thunder are a younger, hungrier team. And those fans don't need to be acting as if they've won something, they need to remember that the refs practically hand the Lakers their games on a platter most nights.

No sorry you're only partially right, because despite the crappy pitching we still had a golden opportunity to win the game, but due to extreme managerial incompetence we had no bench players available with the bases loaded no outs in the 9th, so we had to use a pitcher who was instructed to not swing with the bases loaded.

That Arizona game falls squarely on Tracy. I've watched baseball since 93 and I can't ever say I've seen a manger blow it that hard, how in the world do you use every possible bench player before the 9th inning? 2 of those bench players didn't even take an at bat (Herrera and EY) and were pretty much just wasted.

That was the biggest joke I've ever witnessed. That game should have single handedly cost Tracy his job.

At this point, I'm wondering if it's even worth seeing the Rockies when they come to DC in July... Jesus this team is horrific.

I'll never pass up a chance to go to a baseball game, that's just me. I don't care if the Rox suck or not, being at a ballpark is just amazing to me.

I am with you on that. Their prices are still reasonable enough were I can justify one game per year even if they suck. Which they do. Amazing to be at Coors field. Fenway Park amazing? Hell no! But cool enough to go and suck down a beer or two at least once per year.

I agree, I have only been to one game but it was better than any basketball, soccer, football or hockey game I have ever been to. It did help that the Jays won and it was at a nice ballpark like Safeco but still it had that awesome old school feel. Plus I did get to see Ricky Romero vs. Felix Hernandez and I caught a ball that Brett Cecil threw to me because I was the only Jays fan around the area he was and got to eat a huge ass chili-dog but even if all that didn't happen it was still better than going to any other sporting event.

I don't even know what to say about the Rockies. Jim Tracy's gotta go but if O'Dowd isn't pointed out with any responsibility I'm going to go nuts. When is the accountability ever going to come for DOD?

Ever been in DC in July or August? The weather sucks. And that's being nice. We're talking 90+ with 80% humidity. Your shirt gets soaked just walking to the subway station.

Honestly, I have no idea why so many people want to be politicians, the weather here is horrid.

The stat that says it all for the Rockies...Over the past 10 years they have taken 270 pitchers in the draft only 5 have made it to the majors.

If that is complete incompetence I don't know what is. O'Dowd has got to go...shoot everyone needs to go just start over.

Count me in the crowd that will still attend games and such. For better or worse they are still my team. If I could weather the McDaniels era with the Broncos (as a season ticket holder no less) I can weather this.

It just gets so frustrating. One game the offense looks fine and it's the pitching that gives out (like tonight) Then the pitching is good enough to win but the offense dissappears. The thing is you can't fire the entire coaching staff in the middle of the season (well you could but it would be just as big a disaster as doing nothing). Either Tracy has to go or Apodaca/Lansford have to go. Regardless O'dowd needs to go but the Monforts won't drop that hammer until the offseason assuming they do anything at all.

Also at some point the players have to be accountable. Tulo hit a HR tonight but then hit into 2 double plays when we needed clutch hits. Helton's offense has gone into the toilet. Cargo is our best hitter right now but even he is hit or miss most of the time.

Players, coaches, front office and ownership are lucky this isn't Boston, The Bronx, Philly, St. Louis or Chicago...you know a big Baseball market. They would all be crucified for all this mess.

so frustrating....

**** this. The rockies suck. I wish I could take back all the money I have spent on the rockies over the years and go spend it in a team that isn't the Mickey mouse club.

I won't bail on the Rockies. I sat through the 97-98 Nuggets, I can take anything.

Bill Hanzlik coached the same? No wonder, he seems like an idiot when he does post game stuff.

I get the Monforts are cheap, but reforming the front office, scouting and coaching are relatively inexpensive in a monetary sense. It speaks of laziness and complacency.
