We've lost every single even numbered game this post season. It sure would be nice to finally win one. On the positive side of things though, if we continue to win every odd numbered game, we'd win the cup, with the negative being giving every Ranger fan a heart attack.

Joe & Evan took that and ran with it talking about financial problems and such. It was fun to listen to. I will agree with them on one point: Evan said how he went to a game there and the music is just deafeningly loud. He is 100% right. They blast all kinds of awful music. Also the P.A. mic is set on max. It's enough to want ear plugs it's so loud. The best is when they put the noise meter on the jumbotron, then proceed to squash out any crowd noise with terrible, extremely loud music.

Devils fans can say all they want about MSG being old and dilapidated, but if you want a proper hockey experience, that's where you want to be.

Anyway, looking forward to the game tonight. It'd be nice for our big guys (Richards and Gaborik) to actually pot a couple this series.

LET'S GO RANGERS!!!
While I get what they were trying to do with the glow sticks, it was a nightmare what happened after they used them. It was definitely weird to see them take them back.

As far as a "proper hockey experience", I can name quite a few other arenas I'd rather go to for the "proper hockey experience" that aren't named MSG.

Here's to an entertaining game (hopefully)!

You have to understand that I've been to every arena (minus Winnipeg) for a game. There are places that are just incredible.

Wait, why'd they take the glowsticks back?

Glowsticks are useless after the small glass tube in them has been broken already.

Totally agree.

But the dig is unnecessary here and deserved my reply.

You've been a mainstay here on HF. And and i think a pretty good one. For a Ranger hater.

You could of done better than that.

They didn't get them from everybody (nor did they even hand out all of them), but supposedly it was so they could reuse them again tonight.

They weren't glowsticks either. They were white tubes with a red flashing light inside of them.

Whatever. One person's opinion...doesn't change anything, and uncalled for here.

Enjoy the game.

Where does Newark rank on that list?

It's my home arena, I like it, but it's no where near my top 10 in terms of "proper hockey experience".

Wow, why didn't they collect the towels back from people too after they're done waving them?

I can't believe they did that

The team is on the verge of bankruptcy, can't say it shocks me.

I'm surprised they can even afford to give out towels in the first place.

Yeah it was a little ridiculous and they were pretty aggressive when they tried to take them back from people as well. Who knows what the deal was.

I wouldn't rely on the NY Post for your daily source of information.

And there's a thing called "Sponsors"...that's who usually pays for the towels or any kind of giveaway.

Well...they pretty much almost refuse to give you a towel if you're a Rangers fan. So there's some savings for them, lol.

CJ you are not normally a troller but you are trolling here and there is no need. Like someone else said, you are better than that.

Dispense with the digs at MSG and Ranger fans...do that on the Devils board if you must.

My guess is because in 2008 some of your fans were stuffing them in toilets and caused a major problem.
