At least we know that momentum can't effect the Rangers either way lol. I'm really hoping the intensity from the scraps, etc carries over to the next game. I can't take another godawful start.
So wait...you guys don't want Parise because he had a good game against the Rangers? Really? would you rather he shows a half-assed effort in the ECF?
This team needs offense...therefore, no Parise.
Makes perfect sense.
How much is he going to demand and how much is that going to bottleneck us.
Not only that, Parise in the Rangers is nothing more than a pipe dream: He said he wanted to be on a team that will contend for the cup, and they're currently doing it now.

Plus, he's the ****ing captain.
The Devils are practically bankrupt. IDK that they have money to sign him.

Devils might have the cap space, but not the money. They're almost bankrupt. If he wants to be on a contending team, then he won't go to the Wild. Detroit is getting old, and they're screwed if Lidstrom retires. Devils knew this would happen. Gave him a one year deal last year, instead of locking him up for good. Why didn't he just sign a longer contract if he wants to stay in NJ?
But people here are complaining that he showed "too much effort?" or something along those lines. Wish our captain showed half of that tonight.

Devils will have a plethora of players hitting UFA. Safe to say that at least half of them aren't resigning. If Brodeur comes back, he's not going to get anything close to the $5.2 million he currently has.
Never count out Detroit: That's a well oiled machine. And it's not too far from Minnesota.

Again, cap space isn't the Devils' problem. Money is. They can't pay the rent for the Pebble. Them going this far in the playoffs is VERY helpful to them though. A first round exit would have put them very close to bankruptcy.
