The Hobbit and Dubinsky haven't been healthy enough to play yet. Kinda screws up your plan.

If Boyler is really injured, fine. If not, he's one of our best pk'ers and FO-men. No way I'd scratch him. Rupp also needs to stay in as long as he can be effective.

Bickel can sit.

they're both close if not there already......

plus.....at this point, I'd take Dubi and Hobbit at 90% than some of the stiffs that were seeing out there

Bringing Dubinsky back should help add a little depth to the 3rd line. It should help the top lines a bit. Plus if Dubinsky wakes his ass up and starts plays like he used to, then it'll be a huge help.

^^^ Exactly. If you think we are playing with all of our forwards at 100% out there you are dreaming. I think Dubi and Zucc are probably closer to healthy then Boyler is right now. Did you watch him last night? He looked tired, sluggish, and really did not make a difference on the ice at all. I am not saying he isn't trying, I think he is either out of gas and needs a day off, or he is hurt and we don't know it.

Boyle hasn't looked the same since his concussion.
Callahan hasn't looked the same since he got that puck to the wrist.

I'm sure others are hurt too. However, it's no excuse because I'm sure players on the other teams are hurt as well.

That said, poster above me is right, Dubi and Zuc are probably more healthy than a lot of other guys and are more rested. For a team that can't score, having guys like Mitchell and Rupp in there isn't helping our cause. At least Prust PKs. Putting in Dubi and Zuc at this point could help a lot.

It's not the lines....It's not a lack of effort.

Our three best forwards are not creating much right now (callahan, richards, Gaborik). Injuries, fatigue, too much dump and chase, all of the above?
The minds are willing, but the bodies seem to be out of gas.
we can't blame it all on the forwards either. The D has been a step behind and cannot seem to get the puck out. It's hard to create offense when you spend the first 30 seconds of your shift in the D zone getting hammerred along the boards.

then he shouldn't be playing. Boyle doesn't have excess skill nor talent where he can be even effective if he's not at 100%.....

I really want to see AA sit too, but I don't see a viable replacement to push into his spot. None of the kids are ready/able to be as good as he is.

He has been sitting....... I don't think he's played more the 7 minutes in a game all series.

Yesterday he only played 6 mins, you sit him anymore he might as well just get a subscription to netflix and stay on the bus

LOL, I mean "healthy scratch" but I know you know that. I am pretty sure I saw him pull out a Nintendo DS last night while he was on the bench.

Kreider-Richards-Cally

Prust-Boyle-Rupp

Let Hagelin play without the pressure of playing with Gaborik and Richards and having to be a fancy player and get him with some bigger players where he can use his speed to create chances for the bigger guys to get into the zone a create offense. If Dubi can go, move out Rupp and move down Feds to the 4th line.
I like putting Mitchell with Hags. Didn't they have a lot of chemistry together when they first came up?
I also like putting the GAS line together because Stepan needs something to get him going.

That could explain his lack of performance, I could only imagine how hard of a time he is having reading the english version of Zelda.

Thats gotta have him exhausted

I would argue he's playing handicapped; no skill.

As for the lines, we have been dominated for four games and have figured out a way to be even in the series. Time for a shakeup.

If Dubi and MZA are healthy they play on a third line with Anisimov. The only one who must play on the 4th line is Prust for PK duties. Otherwise I don't care who else dresses. You can sit Mitch, Boyle, Feds, Rupp, Bick. I don't care. My preference would be a 4th line of Prust, Rupp and Feds. Our record in these playoffs without Boyle is very good; sit him. He is bringing nothing unless you count losing key faceoffs as a contribution.

I would put Bick back in there for eminger. Neither one helps much in our zone. At least Bick is tough.

Its funny because we finally realize how important he is in a series like this even if hes not scoring, but for his ability to gain some offensive zone time. This leads to scoring chances and maybe goals..

true boyle is not going to help that line. Maybe Hagelin Dubi and Gaborik is you want to try it. Than Cally Richards Anisimov, Krieder Stepan Feds/prust id try it.

how about Mitchell, Hags, and Zuccs?

We would have the sheer speed winger, the wiz kid with the puck, and Johny Gretzky feeding them both

Yep, nevermind a second line center or any wingers that can create offense.
