It's very uncommon but there are a few signed every year it seems.

Pretty sure Darren Haydar's last contract was a two year.

I wish every AHL team would release clear info about contracts status like Hershey does.

Ha, if you consider trying all season to get confirmation that Brouillette had signed a 2 year contract (he did; this is end of year 1) and clarification about Almeida's contract was difficult too, because the press release was different than the ones for Syner and Civitarese. Anyway, kudos to having a beat writer like Tim Leone who puts this all together at the end of the season and yes, to the HBH for eventually releasing the info. I had pulled together a list and the only 100% unknown contract for next year was Wellar. Not sure if that's an extension or a second of a 2 year contract, but yes, he's signed.

I would believe that it's a 2 years deal for Wellar. If it wasn't the case, Hershey would have probably made a press release to confirm the newest 1 year contract.

New signings
Dolan re-signed by Charlotte

Nesbitt re-signed by Peoria
http://www.pjstar.com/news/x63994283...tt-for-2012-13

By the way, I will edit post #2 and make the list of the "2012 AHL free agents" (pretty much every player, except those who had a multi year contract) which will indicate where those players will end up signing. So if you have any info on these players, feel free to post them.

More info on Milwaukee from the Aaron Sims blog and Capgeek.

http://www.milwaukeeadmirals.com/hom...2010/01/050212

Chris Cahill either retired or is going to Europe. Leaderer and Henderson were call-ups from Cincinnati, so I assume that they have contracts with Nashville. Suter is Ryan's brother and played in Cincinnati, not Milwaukee.

Joel Champagne, Jeff Foss, Mark Van Guilder and Scott Ford had 1 year AHL deals, so they are UFAs as was posted by Booba. I hope that at least three of them will come back for next year.

Leaderer and Suter signed two-way AHL/ECHL contract. Henderson signed a PTO (tryout contract) which was upgraded to a SPC (standard contract) later in the season.

FWIW, Hershey doesn't always release the news like this, so for now, still think it's a 1 year extension for Wellar.

Looks like one for the Milwaukee Admirals.

Andre Bouvet-Morrissette

http://www.hockeydb.com/ihdb/stats/p...php?pid=129672

http://www.journalexpress.ca/Sports/...ssette-au-CH/1

google translate excerpt: "Bouvet-Morrissette, who was to attend an assessment day in front of staff recruitment CH, June 12, Brossard, finally turned to an offer from the farm club of the Nashville Predators. This is an agreement giving it a season salary of the AHL."

1 year, 2 years whatever...what's important to know as that he is signed for 2012-2013!

However, I changed it to a 1 year contract in the first post!

google translate excerpt: "Bouvet-Morrissette, who was to attend an assessment day in front of staff recruitment CH, June 12, Brossard, finally turned to an offer from the farm club of the Nashville Predators. This is an agreement giving it a season salary of the AHL."
Good find!

No need for google translate, I can confirm that it's an AHL contract.

According to this article, Kevin Clark and Travis Ramsey are under contract for next season with St.John's

http://www.thetelegram.com/Sports/20...Work-goes-on/1

It probably means that Clark and Ramsey were signed to multiple (probably 2) years contract last offseason. Maybe someone can confirm this info!

For Hershey, Machesney, Oreskovic, Mink, and Lacroix are free agents. I'm not sure about De Kastrozza but if I were to guess, he probably is a free agent as well. Also missing Barry Almeida, Julien Brouillette, and David Civitarese for 12-13 contracts. Link provided below on contract info for Hershey

I'm a little confused about the Climie signing! Does it mean he signed a one year NHL contract (11/12) + a one year AHL contract (12/13), last summer?
