How about a dominating game for once? How about we stop with the dump and chase and start crashing the net and throw pucks at the net?

Exactly. Post on your own board. Why come in here when we are not in a good mood and not wanting to deal with any Devil fan BS.

I hate fans of other teams as much as anyone, especially when they add nothing.

Here is an idea though, lay off Tundra. He is actually adding to the discussion, a far cry from posters whining about his posts.

hah, you obviously don't remember the Ottawa series too well. Ottawa outplayed the Rangers for stretches way worse than the Devils. How about when Ottawa would have the puck in the Rangers zone for minutes at a time while Karlsson was just controlling the puck all day and firing 18 shots a game from the point?

Ottawa, Washington...we've looked bad against both of them. How is this any different?

The Rangers are who they are. All I care about is winning the game. They arent going to change anything.

Sather and Torts will address the areas of concern in the offseason. For now, they just to ramp up the intensity and realize they are the ones in the driver's seat with home ice.

What can they do? Parise isn't going to completely change this team on his own. I mean I'm hoping to add another 30 goal scorer in Parise and hopefully Kreider scores 20+ next year, but they're not going to be a completely different team.

Yeah well complaining about his posts is going to serve his hidden agenda, provided he has one, right?

He is in these threads after a Devils loss as well. I have read some of the threads on their side and he isn't an arrogant f-ckstick like most of their fans are.

It's not, but people are saying that the Devils are playing vastly better than Ottawa and Washington when that's not true. I actually think that the Devils look less scary than both of those teams.

The inability to move to puck quickly on the backend to eliviate pressure from the devils forechecking and not being able to see that the dump and chase is NOT working since fatty comes out and plays the luck EVERY time is whats killing this team in addition to what brooks said. This team is so ****ing stubborn it hurts the same stuff over and over, just last night they tried to hang around for two periods and turn it on in the third because it worked twice, clearly didn't happen and if they do it two more time were done, it's getting rediculous the bang your head against a stone wall until you break through mentality this team has when it comes to trying to same thing over and over, someone grow a set and carry the puck into the zone, you might get hit but your a hockey player for crying out loud.

Defense, goaltending, and timely scoring is the way this team will win a championship this year. They are not a Juggernaut offensively. They go in stretches of being lackadaisical on offense

Extremely frustrating watching this team...even when they win.

Throwing the puck below the hash marks and grinding it out, letting the opponent spend 75% of the game in your end, and leaning, totally gassed on your goal tender, even if that goalie is Hank....I just can't believe that will continue to work.

I can't remember when this team connected a pass off the rush that lead to a goal. A play that showed some semblance of offensive creativity. Just can not. What this team does well it does very well, but very little of it is offense. Offense for the Rangers is waiting for a broken play or the opponent to make a mistake.

They look completely, utterly out of gas right now. The Rangers need their best players to be their best players. It's not happening.

Hopefully we get Dubi back and he can do what he thus far has failed to do all year....be a spark.

Size is playing a bigger role here, especially in the offensive zone. Our most skilled players are more on the smallish side (Gabby, Richards, Step), even our grinders (Cally, Prust, Feds) are smaller than usual. Wave after wave of bigger forwards, series after series, is going to wear smaller players down.

It's not like they aren't trying to go to the net, it's just not easy for them to get there. People forget there are two teams on the ice. You can't always just decide to play well and then play well. There's a very good team on the other side trying to keep that from happening.

lackadaisical is too much of a COMPLIMENT to describe this inept and sad offense

who's going to do that?

Gaborik? Hagelin? Stepan? Richards? Callahan?

Aside from Kreider, none of them have the size, strength or desire needed to consistently battle for position in front of Marty.

Rangers have no size on our top 2 lines. They have one pure finisher in Gaborik that gets physically shut down way to easily and one kid that is still dripping wet behind the ears.

We can win this series, but we are going to need a better start and we need to learn real fast how to put teams away when w get the lead. Because the flip side is that as much as we CAN win this series, we CAN lose it as well.

last night was a putrid performance by everyone. I don't think one Rangers player had a good game.

He's not hurt. He's just limited.

The kid really needs to work on his game, because he lacks natural talent.

There's a reason why Kreider has been able to step in and help. He's actually gifted.
While Stepan who has 2 full pro seasons, looks lost.

I love how he undermines Ott and Wash, when in fact weve had an easier time vs the Devils than both those teams. We have to come out to play tomorrow night for sure we have to win, but has he not been watching the playoffs they have played the same throughout.
